Creative Grids Quilt Ruler 7-1/2in Square - CGR7

It was hard to use since I have a picture in the middle of the square. I would of like to have the square have a 1/4 inch boarder all the way around the square in stead of the way it is marked.

This acrylic ruler is one of the easiest quilting aids to use! It gives me several options for 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7 squares to include 1/2 marked grids.

I selected this brand, Creative Grids, because a friend recommended it, as sliding less than other brands. I now agree. Creative Grids has very lightly texturized spots that help prevent the ruler from moving on the fabric as you are cutting. This size is VERY useful in squaring sewn patches, and has a 45 degree line and markings for corners. I have since purchased other Creative Grids rulers and will continue to look for them.

It just arrived, so I havent used it yet, but even so, I am very impressed with the quality, the fact that it doesnt smell, and that it lies FLAT!! My other cutting mats do not, and that causes issues in cutting accuracy. I have not doubt that this mat will perform as expected. Actually, I bought two mats, to place side by side for a larger cutting surface. The company said that would work, and it does.

I lvoe this product, instead of having to mark off a larger ruler, this is terrific, and it does not slip

The best sewing and quilting rulers! They are marked in black and white for light or dark fabrics. They also have slightly rough spots to keep them from skidding when you apply pressure/cut. Dont worry, the spots are not abrasive to fabric, they just grip.

I bought this for a beginner quilting class. Once I learned to read the lines I started to like using it. Now it is a go to square for me. I am a creative grids groupie. After I bought my first creative grid ruler I started giving away my other brands. I have straight ones and squares. They are non-slip and easy to read.

it really helped with my project
