Thank You Creative for this Sound Blaster ,I wondered if 96/24 bit would be noticable I got it August 2019 and it is truly amazing I can set it if I want to use it differently ,it is very customizable and my Sony AW-45 is also 96/24 and it was over $150 but this is the one I still keep on my Computer it replaces the not great Sound Card from my NUC or Dell Inspiron Duo sounds great now ,for the price it is amazing I would advise anyone who doesnt have DAC yet to get this one for $20 I see DAC running for $100 for 192/24 bit and when you get to 768/36 bit over $200 even Thousand plus I have a DAC now that is stronger but this one is for my Computer still Creative is a very good Company I would and have told a couple friends about it and definitely advise it ,I do not think Computers have good sound cards but this becomes the Computers sound card Thank You rsdno Update ***** This has lasted and sounds almost like my much lamented Kunlun ,it does take 15 or 20 minutes to set up but Creative almost gave me a gift for the price and that is great deal but this helped me to enjoy youtube and I hear music made specifically for a movie or TV it sounds awesome so if you dont have DAC or want your PC to sound great this Creative for well under $30 is a great buy and great sound but use the control panel and instructions rsdno

I run my macbook pro through a Dell 38 monitor (U3818DW). Its an amazing setup. Only drawback is that you cant control your speakers with the keyboard unless you plug them directly into the headphone jack on the side MBP. Forget that. Its so nice having all video, internet, charging and other peripherals working just by plugging in the USB-C connection that comes with the monitor. A USB audio adapter ensures the audio works through that connection too. Only drawback is that Ive tried 2 different USB sound adapters and neither of them worked. My monitor is using firmware ver. M2B106 which is the latest version for that monitor. This Sound Blaster adapter works perfectly. Volume and quality are excellent. No lag. As a side FYI, dont attempt the firmware update to the monitor on your own if yours doesnt have it. My first attempt torched the monitor and by the admission of Dells own tech support, the only fix was to replace the monitor. Once they did it worked super well.

I purchased this because the native sound output on my Raspberry Pi was mediocre at best. I needed a better quality sound output to send to my FM transmitter and was recommended to try this and wow what a difference.

So I wanted to be able to use a non USB gaming headset across several computers I switch between during the day using a USB KVM. This was cheap, a known brand with good reviews and works perfectly for the task I needed and sounds great as well. Switches between Windows, Mac and Linux with no issues, love it.

The sound card is good, but it is not functional for me in particular, since it has both ports very close together and I need to use them both.

Bought this as the Creative Labs internal sound card would not work in Windows 10. The Sound Blaster 3 Play works perfectly and supports a 2.1 speaker setup. I am using it with the Cyber Acoustics CA-3602FFP 2.1 Speaker system. All works perfectly and brought my speakers to life against the Realtek onboard sound. The smart volume seems to work but takes sometime getting use to as sometimes you need to adjust the volume via the Cyber Acoustic volume controller. Just glad this worked with 5 minutes of setup and grabbing the creative software against two hours with the internal sound card by Creative which never worked.

My iMac cant get updates past 10.13, so it was time to breath new life into it by loaded Windows 8.1, which is the latest version of Windows it can run effectively. After loading Windows 8.1, I was unable to get the built in sound to work. Ive run various versions of Windows on a lot of different Macs and never ran into this. After trying a number of different solutions I decided to just go ahead and get an external USB sound card. The reviews on this were great, so I got it and its done what it needs to do. And as an added bonus, I can tell it provides slightly better sound than with the built in output to the same headset I was using. I would recommend purchasing this device to anyone.
