> 24 hourI received one of these heavy duty tube wringers as an art supply tool about 20 years ago and it has quickly found uses all over the house beyond its original art duties. I use it for paint tubes, toothpaste, various medicinal tubes, glues, wasabi - anything in a tube, really. The tube wringer is simple to use and is the most effective way Ive used of squeezing every last drop out of a tube - especially when compared to those little plastic paint tube keys. The wringer not only flattens but crimps the tube which helps to prevent squeezed material from spreading back out into the body of the tube, especially in metal tubes (not so much in stiffer plastic like wasabi comes in). It is so satisfying to use that when I pull it out to wring some tubes, I find myself drifting around the house looking for more tubes to wring. ;) I recommend the wringer with the metal rollers. Models with plastic rollers exist but they only save you a couple of bucks and Id imagine would have a shorter life span. I mostly do my painting during winter but my tube wringer gets plenty of use on toothpaste tubes during summer making it a welcome addition to the household.

> 24 hourI know it is pictured wringing out a toothpaste tube, but this device is far too large and heavy for most people to want it on their bathroom counter. It is far over-sized for the job it is shown performing. Further, the instructions provided with the device clearly indicate that it is meant for more industrial tubes such as caulk - its size and weight is better suited for that performance as well.

> 24 hourThis is a very sturdy device . I use it to make the little ridges in my copper designs for jewelry. It is easy to slide the copper into. It hasn’t caused me any hand fatigue while turning the copper into the zig zag look. I’m sure it will last for years to come it is made so hardy. I have found I use this great gadget for things I never thought of before. I highly recommend this.

> 24 hourIt was not what I expected at all. It did not have a tight grasp. I was very disappointed. It had a short return date and and now I am stuck with a product I am not satisfied with. It did not meet my expectations at all!

> 24 hourI lived in Springfield, Oregon and worked in Eugne from 1972 until 1976. During this period I acquired a Gill Tube Wringer. I have used it regularly for all these years and can truthfully say that it works every bit as good today as the day I got it. You just wont believe how well it works until you try it. This is a piece of precision machine work which will last a lifetime in normal use. It is worth every penny you pay for it.

> 24 hourExtemely effective, though a bit of overkill for toothpaste tubes.

> 24 hourThis is a super heavy duty tool that will crimp your oil paint tubes or toothpaste tubes, or any other tubes so tightly that you can even cut off the long end of the tube that is empty. The big plus that this crimper has over the plastic-handled model that sells for half the price is that you cant pinch your hand when you squash down on the handle. So I think its worth the extra money.
