> 24 hourThis case is very good but not quite as big of species for some die cast! Other cases have slightly larger spaces allowing for slightly longer die cast items. I have purchased this and other cases before! Most die cast fit but occasionally one won’t quite fit!

> 24 hourThis is a great product to keep all my buttons and embellishments for my art projects. There are plenty of cubbies to hold everything on both sides. The problem is that when you turn it over, because there are cut-outs on each side of the individual cubbies, everything mixes together. To remedy this, I put some clear packing tape on each section. Worked like a charm!

> 24 hourI drilled holes in the sides so my smocking threads could come through. Between three top and bottom of the organizer, I could fit all 24 spools. I even have room to fit a small pair of scissors, hand needles, and some embroidery floss. Perfect for smocking!

> 24 hourIt is doubtful that you can fit every color DMC makes (as one reviewer said), but it fits every color that I currently have. Theres a larger section on each side that fits full skeins, prior to winding them or duplicates. You have to be a little careful to see that it locks each time and also that the lock hitch isnt bending the bobbin in that cubby (by not fully packing bobbins in there and giving them a little room to lay back). You may need two of these boxes to fit all the colors, or maybe as you use some of each thread, it naturally makes more room? For now, it fits my whole collection with a little room to add some more. I used the several packages of the DMC bobbins that come 28 in a package with the large ring and a package of DMC sticker labels. As I wind them, I tape on the number label from the skein because its easier to read than the sticker. I made a photo copy of the stickers page prior to removing any so I can quickly cross off the ones that I have collected. Just take a new picture of that photo copy with my phone when you add new skeins for shopping reference. In the picture, you can see the groups of empty bobbins, just to give an idea of how many colors are not in there. At first I stuck all the stickers on empty bobbins, but turns out it was unnecessary since I like the tape/skein label method better. It does however, let you know how many you may not have if you are trying to collect all the colors. Overall, I love this box and just having it sitting next to me while doing embroidery makes me smile.

> 24 hourMy son has a growing collection of toy vehicles that are very good at blending into our rugs and hurt very much when you step on them. So I was trying to find a way to keep them off the floor. I tried the hot wheels containers first, and although they are aesthetically pleasing, they are expensive and hard for my toddler son to open the container ... which leaves him frustrated and even less motivated to pick up his toys. Thanks to Pinterest, I found an article where someone used these thread organizers for hot wheels, and I decided to give it a try. Encouraged by the reviews posted, I purchased 2 of these containers. They arrived faster than promised and I was pleasantly surprised that the outer part of the case was made of thicker plastic. The plastic is clear, not cloudy, so you can see what is in the case clearly. Because of its plain nature, my son did not jump up and start putting cars into the slots, as he did with the hot wheel case. However, once I started putting a few in, he joined and we put them in the slots together. I liked how you could put them flat in the slots so you can see what the cars look like when the case is closed. A few of his cars were a little longer than the slot, but I was able to put it in at an angle. A couple more of the cars were just too long, and I saved them for the 1 slot of both sides that has a divider missing. We were also able to fit the Disney Pixar Cars into the slots as well! They run a tad bit bigger than the hot wheels or the matchbox cars. (1:55 vice 1:64, I believe) I showed my toddler son once how to open and close the box, making sure to remind him that he needed to hear the latch click when he closed it, or all the cars will come tumbling out. He was able to open and close this organizer easily. No more frustration! He liked being able to look at the box to see what he wanted before opening and grabbing the exact car out (and I liked that he didnt need to dump out the cars from the bin to find what he was looking for). The handle is easy for me to carry the box around, but my son found it a bit heavy when full of hot wheels. I also like that you can stack the boxes on top of each other to save space or stand it on the side to display both sides. I am a little wary of how long the latch would last, but other than that, I am very pleased with this purchase. It costs a lot less than the hot wheels brand car organizers, you can see what is inside, and it stacks nicely. Now the true test .... to see if the cars will return to the container after being played with!!! :)

> 24 hourOriginally I was looking to get the Hot Wheels case that fits 100 cars/trucks for my toddlers ever growing collection of hot wheels and matchbox vehicles. When I saw the pictures of the inside and read comments for that product I started looking elsewhere. Good old Google lead me to this thread case where NUMEROUS others have vouched for the case working for their cars. I am pleased to report I agree! Although it can hold about half the amount as the Hot Wheels branded one, Im happy my son can see the cars without opening the case. Im definitely ordering a second one in the future.

> 24 hourI am still searching for the perfect thread storage solution. I have tried and struggled with so many options! At the moment, this is what Im using: This Creative Options Thread Organizer for spools that are roughly 550yds & smaller, and a large open container for bigger spools. Bobbins keep migrating from this container (stored with the matching thread) and back to a bobbin-specific container. Heres what I love about this organizer: - The bin is double-sided which allows for more compact storage. - The individual compartments make it easy to sort thread in any manner you choose - by color, by fiber, by manufacturer, etc. - The lid closes pretty securely (on both sides) and it has a good non-flimsy carrying handle. - The compartments will allow you to fit one spool (largest I fit is Gutermann 547yds), or up to 4 smaller spools (Gutermann 110yds). - There is one elongated compartment on each side which is twice the length of the other compartments. Heres what I dont love about this organizer: - I would REALLY prefer if the compartments were wider to accommodate the 876yd spools of Gutermann, as well as spools that may have less yardage but have a broader spool base, such as upholstery thread. (No issue with length of compartments.) - When you have multiple spools in a compartment (like a lot of my shorter spools, vintage wood spools, etc), it can be difficult to fish them out since they are wide and fill up the space. You sometimes have to take out several spools to get to the one you want if youre maximizing the space like that. Not a big deal, just a minor annoyance that I think could be remedied by wider compartments. - The latches for each side are on opposite sides - obviously one is always on the top & one on the bottom - but if the lid is open and facing you, youd think the other latch would be bottom front, but its bottom back (view photo to see what I mean). So if you were to put this in a closet or on a shelf with the long side to the back, you could accidentally crush one of the latches. - Such a minor thing, but since this is double-sided, when you pick up by the handle or flip it to the other side your spools will rattle around and shift a lot (and make noise). I guess that would be true for any case, but its more so for this one than any other Ive used. BOTTOM LINE: Really great organizer, but would not buy another due to width of compartments. If the compartments were wider to accommodate larger spools and to accommodate spools that have those wider plastic bases then I would for sure use this for more of my thread. Also - this can definitely be used to organize more than just thread! I just dont have anything else that would particularly suit that need. UPDATE 9/2017: I wanted to get another one of these to store my embroidery floss bobbins but was highly disappointed to find that the bobbins did not fit regardless of orienting them horizontally or vertically. This ties back to my comments above about the compartments being too skinny.
