The style of hasp is what I needed, I live in a high wind, salt spray, marine environment. After being installed 90 days, the metal is rusty but not terrible, the rubber is showing minor cracking. I think I will get a year plus out of these, which is much better than the cheap stainless I’ve used. If you have a normal environment, you will get triple the use. I will buy more… good product!

Our Large Igloo ice chest stopped staying cold for more then a day. Looking at the latches we saw that from wear they were not closing tightly any longer. I found these on Amazon and they work great! Now the cooler works as good as new. Thank you!

Had several latches that have aged out on my DR Leaf Vacuum. These are not quite the same (different fastener pattern), so I am just using the rubber part of the new latches and the mounting hardware of the old ones. It is fine with me.

Just what was needed

We used these horizontally to latch the doors on our shed. The doors are 4x8’ and the spring catches we were using would come open in the wind from the doors blowing in and out. We put two of these per door about 2’ apart and they are working great! I was concerned they would be difficult to open and close, being heavy duty rubber, but they don’t need much stretch to hold tight, so they are easy to latch and unlatch.

I used these to connect some set pieces together for a play. Worked perfectly, and the crew was able to attach and disconnect within seconds.
