> 3 dayDoes not read correctly. Bought it to read Hz frequency and the reading jumps all over the place then the screen locks up when trying to take a reading.

> 3 dayThis meter is nice and compact and works well. The auto shut off timer seems a little quick but that saves battery for a forgetful person like me. Good product great price. I replaced a much more feature laden multi meter that I killed and I love how compact this is.

10-06-2025Wanted to get a newer voltmeter to have for the camper. However, does not work reliably, and gave funky reading even checking house current. Set it aside and went back to using the voltmeter Ive had for 20 years.

> 3 dayI looked for a multimeter because I was losing confidence in the Craftsman multimeters Ive had for some time. After a bit of research and reading several best of kind of reviews I settled on this Crenova MS8233D multimeter. The auto ranging feature is very nice as are the 2 sets of leads -- the normal sharp stab yourself set, but especially the set that terminate in alligator clips. Ive been using this multimeter to troubleshoot an electrical issue in a 40+ year old British car and have been very happy with it to date. I really cannot speak to accuracy other than to say it reads pretty quickly and consistently; I assume that when it says 12.67 V, 0.6 mV, or 3.53 K ohms that that is what I have. Nothing really negative to say, but 2 comments: (1) the back light on period is rather short -- approximately 30 seconds -- and I think 1 minute minimum or on/off would be better and (2) the case could be just a little larger since you can never wrap up the leads the same way they come out of the box the case gets a little crowded. There are pockets on both sides but only half of the side opposite the meter itself is really usable. If I were to somehow break this meter I would definitely buy another one.

11-06-2025This is an awesome meter, loved the first so much I bought a second. The display is large and easy to read. The backlight works well in dark places. It has great leads with caps. Auto ranging is a great feature
