Cricut Weeder Tool, Assorted

I can never have too many of these lying around with all of the crafts I do with vinyl! Would definitely purchase again.

I make very small and detailed vinyl decals. They have very small 1mm areas that need weeding and Ive been using a combination of needle nose pliers and the tip of an x-acto knife to get the job done. This tip seemed pretty pointy but its just not getting the job done. I use permanent adhesive vinyl, mostly holographic. When I stab the point in, it either makes a dent in the vinyl or it completely stabs through the backing and makes a big hole. It doesnt really let me poke and hook away the little bits like Id hoped. So far the tip of an x-acto knife is still a better/easier method. I wish Id just gotten one of the needle/pen tools I see a lot of people have.

Im new to Cricut and after researching and watching a bunch of videos discovered that I likely wouldnt need everything in the Cricut tool set. As I was purchasing not only the machine, but vinyl and tools as well, I decided to get just a couple of tools and if I needed more I could always buy them. This seemed like a really good deal for the price so I bought this, the XL scraper, the Cricut brayer (a must have IMO), and the stylus only. The quality here is good, as expected, but honestly, Ive used the dollar store pin pickers (work like a pin pen) more than this tool, but hey... it was a good deal for the Cricut brand, so Im not disappointed.

great tool, makes removing stick ons and what nots a lot easier

Handy to want to have bought it as it was on sale as a back up.

Got mine on sale to use with my brother scan n cut. Really saves time and makes weeding so much easier.

The tip of this tool is a bit to weak. It bends if you apply to much pressure. Overall, it works for the purpose though.

Great for weeding but sharp.
