CRJ Full Speed 12V Voltage Step-Up USB to 3-Pin and 4-Pin PC Fan Sleeved Power Adapter Cable

I use a portable usb battery and one of my old computer fans with this cable to cool the inside my costume helmet. It works great.

Basically I purchased a little desk on Amazon so I could use my gaming laptop on the couch. The little desk had a cheap fan. I upgraded to a Noctua Fan and needed a way to power that fan by USB. Everything worked flawlessly. Ive only had it a short while so Ill update this review if it dies prematurely since I will be using it practically every day. I was surprised this product even existed but Im glad it does!

Ordered a 5v cord first time.. This works great for the higher RPM computer fans-- in ANY type of build. ANYTHING you could need one for.

Does what its advertised to do, tested on PS3. Was purchased to power up a 140mm PWM fan that is going to move air towards exposed SSD heatsink on PS5. Fan started without any issues when used PS3 USB ports, so far so good. No build quality issues observed on delivery. Will later test if it works with laptop ports. Also performed well in combo with a fan speed controller attached in chain towards the fan. Product recommended.

My son bought this to use with his custom 3d-printed laptop cooler/stand (designed/built/printed himself). He ran two 120mm fans off of it and it worked great. No issues with the USB port or the fans when using the cable.

This was exactly what i needed to repurpose an old tower desktop fan. The fan was still great, it just needed that bridge from 3-pin to USB. That being said, as everyone mentioned, this is just a two pin setup. But the fans ran as soon as I hooked them up and plugged them in to a USB outlet or a plugin adapter. This will run the fans at full speed and you will get a fair amount of breeze. Perfect for how i wanted to use this to cool additional electronics.

When it works it works great, it steps the voltage up to properly use a 12V .25A static pressure fan and I appreciate that. Unfortunately its making extremely bad contact and only works with someting putting pressure on the leads. Annoying.

Am using this to power a Noctua 120mm case fan to provide active cooling for my ASUS AC2900 Router. Works flawlessly. Couldnt be happier and am picking up another to have in my equipment arsenal.

Ive pugged this into several different charging blocks. Works great, awesome for testing fan motors. I bought it to use in a soldering vent setup, keep using it to test computer fans.
