Save yourself some time, use the 30 minutes I wasted researching and 4 days I spent worrying and just buy it. My IT department is a BIG corporate IT department and has the most obnoxious controls on our computers. This thing works no sweat. Im running Windows 10 on a Dell and didnt have to do anything except plug it into my USB drive. Buy it. Take it out of the package. Put it in your USB slot. Give your IT Dept the finger.

Works great! Works with the latest version of Outlook since this device is seen as a mouse... there is a small routine that literally jiggles/moves the mouse icon just enough to keep the system thinking input is occurring... i.e. in Skype or Outlook... green light.

Plug it in and forget about it, love it!

Love it so far! I’ve only used it one day but it’s saved me from having to do the double login a few times already. (My company requires network login that locks out after a few minutes with no use plus a timed screensaver). I’ll update my review if anything goes wrong in the near future but if it keeps working like this it might be one of my favorite gadgets. I work from home so security isn’t an issue for me. But if you work in an office and need to keep info safe just keep in mind that you may need to take other precautions to safeguard your PC that don’t rely on timed lockouts.

My company switched to MS Teams, which for some reason doesnt have a way to modify the inactivity sleep time. I work on multiple computers and Im on the tools and support team. I need to let people know Im available even if Im on a different computer. Teams was constantly showing me as inactive. This simple device does the trick perfectly.
