Works great with Acer Nitro 5, Ryzen 5 3550-H and GTX 1650 variant with Kingston DDR4 2666 RAM pre-installed. Boosted fps of almost every game I threw at it by a minimum of 20-30(except watch dogs 2 which is a cpu bottleneck). My advice is go for the extra ram only if the system is reserving more than sufficient RAM for its hardware(in my case it was 5.95 gb only usable out of which windows ate about 2-3gb). Otherwise 8 gigs should be enough in case of Intel
