Quiet and fast

got this on offer for my Dads new build and comparing speed to my Dads old HDD is night and day.

In meinem Acer Concept D war nur eine Festplatte mit 1TB verbaut. Da Fotos jede Menge Platz benötigen, war eine 2. SSD nötig. Der Einbau war unkompliziert, da der Acer einen passenden Platz bereit hielt. Montagerahmen und Kabel wurde mit dem Acer auch gleich mitgeliefert. Messungen über die Schreib- und Lesefähigkeit wurden zwar nicht gemacht, aber die Platte ist für meine Bedürfnisse schnell genug.

Possiedo già altri SSD Crucial della stessa serie e capacità, che uso ormai da anni e non mi hanno mai dato problemi. Li uso per archiviare foto e documenti e la velocità sia in scrittura che lettura mi soddisfa. Li trovo abbastanza economici in rapporto alla loro affidabilità

I bought one unit and it was under-perfoming from the very beginning, while trying to figure out why it was too slow it started to show a fatal error message. Support acknowleged that the unit is damaged and will fail soon, but they cant send me a new one. So im stuck with my damaged SSD, trying to find a way to transfer the data and Crucial support is completely unable to provide a solution for a product they are making profit from but happens to be defective... unbelievable

Needed a bigger HD for my old Dell Inspiron E1505. I upgraded laptops operating system from XP to Windows 7 professional and plan on using it for a diagnostic/shop computer. Original 80gig HD filled up fast and needed to be upgraded.
