Put this in a TB3 enclosure and use it to external boot from my 2 MacMinis. Small, light, and super fast. Best buy of the year!

Very good, it’s about as fast as those $200 1tb ssd

This gets a lot of flack in review compared to the Samsung drives, but I found this drive to be about as fast as you would ever need an SSD to be. It does slow down once it starts to heat up and/or the cache is exhausted, but you would need to be writing crazy amount of data to happen - realistically you’re only going to incur these kinds of limits when copying a drive, in which case you’re probably limited by speeds on the other Drive.

Bought this in hopes of adding a new life to my hand me down Late 2013 13inch MacBook pro retina. Had to purchase a separate small adapter and I got it working flawlessly. Have had little to no issues with the drive, its a big leap from just having the factory 256GB SSD. The install was easy, a little nerve racking with the use of an adapter but over all it went well. Its been performing normally and no lag or stalls. Be sure to properly format/partition your SSD for Mac, going onto Youtube and searching how to do this was very helpful. Highly recommend and Ill post any update if something happens to go wrong or fail completely.

I got this cheap enough on Prime day but to be honest I find the speed disappointing. It does run hot, and performance increased somewhat following the addition of a heatsink to the drive. I have two of these 1Tb drives in my sons PC storing (part) of his game library. They are okay for this job, but look elsewhere if you are doing anything demanding.

Very nice SSD. Used one of these to upgrade the stock 256GB drive in my laptop. Its a well known brand, great price, and fast enough. I get a solid 1700MB/s read speed, even with bitlocker enabled on my Xps13.

Whether you are trying to get in the game faster or store all your precious memories, the Crucial P1 SSD delivers. Capacities start at 500GB and scale to 2TB. Accelerate performance with the latest NVMe PCIe technology. The P1 is designed to be the only storage upgrade you need — storage, speed, and dependability. Accelerate everything.
