Crucial P1 1TB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe Internal SSD, up to 2000MB/s - CT1000P1SSD8

Paired one of these with a Sensico M.2 NVMe adapter and it works beautifully in a mid 2015 retina 15 MacBook Pro. According to Black Magic Disk Speed Test, my average speeds increased over double both read and write from my original 256GB drive. Couldnt be happier with both capacity and speed! Its a whole new computer! Never a problem with Crucial for both RAM and drives in all the years Ive used them! This drive a great price and great performance.

Installation cant be easier. This is the best way to upgrade your SSD storage if your motherboard supports it. I/O bandwidth is much higher than typical SATA SSD drives. Quiet and very fast access. My Windows 10 system now boots from power-up in less than 25 seconds.

This Crucial 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD works like a charm in my 2014 MacBook Pro. Performances are close to the maximum advertised read and write speeds. Over the past 10 years, Ive been going with Crucial for my computers drives and never had reliability or performance issue. Im sure this one should be as good as the rest.

The device failed to work out of the box and had to be returned. Purchased CORSAIR MP510 960GB PCIe M.2 NVMe from scan

My main hard drives in my computers are Samsung EVO 860s. However, in two of my computers I set up the Crucial SSD as a mirror drive to improve the chance I wont lose my data if one of the drives fails. Its normally recommended to use exactly the same model drive as a mirror drive, but I havent had any problem so far. This drive has specs very close to those of the Samsung EVO 860, but is less expensive.

Runs well but for someone new to ssd, it but a bit challenging to figure out what and why it didnt show up. If you are reading this I recommend looking up YouTube videos to get it working. Linustechtips (to turn it on), and jaytwocents to clone the drive to run an os.
