Ive had this drive for 5 months now. Im a programmer and am constantly keeping this drive on its toes by rebuilding solutions to generate new files to test changes or debug issues.

I was torn trying to decide whether to get a SATA SSD or an M2 SSD, knowing that my older Gigabyte Z97X-SLI rev3 board M2 slot only supports 10Gb/s max. This drive supports 30 Gb/s, so I would be losing out on alot of performance. SATA drives are limited to 6Gb/s so it made sense to just go with an Nvme SSD and future proof my PC a bit. I am glad I went with the P1 1TB. Not only was it cheaper than a Samsung 960 Evo, but it was much fater too. Surprisingly my old board recognized the P1 ssd with no issues and installing windows from a flash drive was a breeze. My computer boots up in a second and I already filled up 600gb of the drive. Now im not getting all the speed benefits of the drive, but my computer is much snappier than when I had a good qulity SATA SSD. The only thing that is annoying is my computer does not want to sleep for long periods of time, something happens after like 5 hours and it tries to wake up and the computer bluescreens. I ended up turning sleep mode off since the computer can boot literally in two seconds, so it is not a big deal to me.
