Crucial P1 1TB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe Internal SSD, up to 2000MB/s - CT1000P1SSD8

We have looked forward to testing this as our first M.2 NVMe SSD to use the QLC flash technology. QLC means that it stores four bits per flash cell (as opposed to the previous TLC (3 bits), MLC (2 (multi) bits) and SLC (one bit)). The increase means that it can store more at a lower cost which is ideal for us as we use our computer mainly for storage/basic games/ music and streaming. The problem with QLCs can be that the write speeds are reduced, but Crucial has found a way to reduce this problem by using a kind of SLC (one bit) catching and we think that it performs really well.

SSD was giving me unstable work load but since it was rare, it didnt matter. I had it on my home computer as a system SSD, It also came without the Retaining screw although it did have the compartment for it, but the screw wasnt there. Luckily amazon had me covered there, and yes those screws DO come with M2 SSDs or at least if there is a compartment for the screw it should be there. It has been 14 months since ive purchased it and not its DEAD, i suspect the area where MBR or GPT suppose to reside is fried, since windows on installation was giving me errors on it, ive tried in many ways and different operating systems, replaced mother board and put it into removable M2 USB adapter all to no avail. Now it has come to point where i would plug this in and any system it would crash the system. There was a review on this how poorly this thing is, i would certainly agree, it is unstable and it is doesnt last, I would not buy it unless you plan to use it less than a year. Im seeking warranty for this. Not sure if i could find any. Also in terms of speed this had no speed difference what so ever in any aspect from my other 2.5 SATA SSD SanDisk. Just add some few dollars and go with more stable systems, like Samsung or something ... coz this is trash ... I wonder if Amazon can help me once again on this ? to seek warranty from seller or manufacturer.

This drive was OK for a while, then it became nearly impossible to copy files from it without crashing. Not worth the trouble. Youll need to reboot your computer over and over again when you need to access the drive for any length of time.

Non il più veloce nvme ma pagato 88 euro durante il prime day e devo dire che a questo prezzo è davvero imbattibile. Volevo acquistare un ssd sata da affiancare al mio 970 evo+ come archivio, ma avendo 2 slot nvme sulla scheda madre non mi sono fatto sfuggire questa offerta fantastica.

Devo dire che leggendo le varie recensioni ero abbastanza scettico e di certo sono rimasto più che sorpreso dalle prestazioni di questo prodotto. Nello specifico il mio è un modello da 1Tb (acquistato a 87€ durante il prime day) e i test sono stati effettuati con circa 200gb di spazio occupato sullunità e la momentum cache abilitata dallapp di crucial, su un PC che monta una ab350 gaming di gigabyte, ryzen 5 1500x e 16 GB di RAM 3000mhz di xpg. Sinceramente non mi era mai successo che le prestazioni di un prodotto andassero oltre quelle dichiarate dalla casa ma, con mia sorpresa, dai 2000/1700 dichiarati dalla casa io ho effettivamente 3312/2985 come potete evincere dalla foto. Quindi non posso che consigliare a chiunque di acquistare questo SSD perché è in assoluto il migliore in rapporto qualità prezzo e quasi eguaglia le prestazioni di un Samsung che costa più del doppio.

Ich habe eigentlich eine normale 2,5 Zoll SSD als Ersatz für die 1TB Daten-HDD für mein Gaming-Notebook gesucht und dabei eher zufällig herausgefunden das ich ab Werk mit einem m.2 NVMe-Slot ausgestattet bin.

Es handelt sich um einen schnellen SSD 1TB Speicher, der mit meinem Alienware Laptop kompatibel ist. Soweit so gut. Aber weshalb nicht eine einzige lausige Schraube zur Befestigung mitgeliefert werden kann, ist mir ein Rätsel. Ich musste jetzt eine 24er Schraubenpackung ordern, die in erst in zwei Wochen ankommen wird. Verzögert den Einbau ungemein. Ein Stern Abzug.
