This is a blazing fast SSD as long as you use with a PCIe 4.0 slot. After loading Windows 11 and some other applications on this drive, I ran a benchmark on it and it benched higher than a 2TB 980 Pro!

First image is p5 plus that I got which was faulty. When I checked crystalmarkdrive it showed that it wasnt running at the right speed. Then went to check what pcie it was using through CrystalDiskInfo and it was also wrong. Returned it and got another and it was working perfectly for my gen 3 m.2 slot. Just make sure you check before you install everything and realise after.

Bought this item at the end of Nov 2022 and had to wait a few weeks for CPU to ship. Got the OS loaded on the PC and things worked great until they didnt. Determined that it is this PCIe memory card . Last return date was Jan 31, 2023 and today is Mar 9, 2023. The online blurb says the chip has a limited 5 year warranty - guess Ill find out how good that is.

The crucial P5 plus 1tb is very good value for an ssd. The R/W speeds you get are the best that you can get for this money (at least when i bought this) and i trust that it will last long and work reliably since its made by Crucial, which is the consumer brand of Micron. A good point for the ssd is also that it comes with a (functionally limited) lifetime copy of Acronis trueimage, which makes backups as well as transfer of data to the new ssd from an old hdd/ssd (like your old C: drive) easy. Overall great value for your money, recommended!
