RAM chip is fine, no effort to install. The employees at Amazon decided to send it in an unprotected envelope though, so the first one arrived bent like a banana. Maybe a box would have been better?? Oh well, its Amazons money.

Gave new life to my HP Omen desktop

I used the Crucial app to determine what capacity I had and what chipset was compatible and then ordered from Amazon. Arrived next day, fitted in 5 minutes and doubled the RAM from 8 to 16Gb. Instant impact, the PC is much faster now.
