    Greater than one week

The Crucial RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR5 5600MHz (or 5200MHz or 4800MHz) Desktop Memory CT2K16G56C46U5 is a great investment for anyone looking to upgrade their desktop memory. The kit is easy to install, and the DDR5 technology ensures speedy and efficient performance. The kit comes in different frequencies, making it flexible to fit different budget and performance needs. I found that the 5600MHz frequency provides lightning-fast performance, allowing my system to handle multiple applications and programs without any lag. The sleek design and heat spreader technology also help to dissipate heat efficiently, preventing any overheating issues. Overall, I highly recommend this RAM kit to anyone looking to upgrade their desktops performance.

I cant rate this better, or worse, because I was unable to really test it. When I say it wouldnt work, I dont mean that it doesnt fit because I was trying to put it into DDR4 slots. When I tried to add this to my Asus X670E board with 7950X, it just refused to POST at all. Tried everything, including complete CMOS reset etc. but when this particular memory is installed it gets stuck on DRAM test light for a while and then eventually just shuts down and never gets to the point of even giving me a video signal. Works fine with just my old RAM installed which is on the QVL for my motherboard (this memory is not). Normally not being on QVL doesnt usually mean memory wont work but this time it does.

Currently we are in waiting to completely overhaul our desktop setup. In the meantime we have been doing minor tweaks to keep our system relevant and useable. We use our computer for casual gaming, but mainly my wife uses it for her profession as a gaming artist, crafter, and hobbyist. So we do use many drawing programs like Photoshop and Clip Studio. These programs are resource hogs and you always need plenty of RAM. We decided to upgrade our DDR4 to DDR5 and instantly thought of Crucial. We have many products from Crucial and they are a trusted brand in our household.

I recently built a new PC which includes an Intel Core i9-13900k and ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-A motherboard, replacing my old PC with Intel 8th gen, 16GB DDR4.

CT2K16G56C46U5 is the Crucial 32GB kit consisting of (2) 16GB desktop modules that operate at the speed of 5600MHz and has a CAS Latency of 46. It is an UDIMM and conforms to the industry standard DDR5 UDIMM layout of 288 pins. It is compatible with systems that can take DDR5-5600 UDIMM memory.
