I recently built a new PC which includes an Intel Core i9-13900k and ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-A motherboard, replacing my old PC with Intel 8th gen, 16GB DDR4.

Nayant pas de pc qui support le DDR5, jai été tester ces barrettes chez un ami gamer. Il sest fait plaisir récemment en se montant un PC de course avec des LEDs partout, avec une carte mère Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite Ax et un processeur AMD Ryzen 7 7700X. La RAM de son PC est de la DDR5 Corsair Vengeance 5600MHz, avec des spécifications quasiment identiques à ce jeu de barrettes Crucial. Il a remplacé les deux barrettes et il les a utilisées pendant une semaine. Verdict de sa part : aucune différence perceptible ou mesurée (nombre de FPS dans les jeux, etc). A noter que les barrettes nont pas de dissipateur thermique mais ne chauffent pas plus que ça (mon ami na pas overclocké la RAM). Donc, de très bons résultats.

I’ve got this RAM for use in a home desktop build project. It’s done just the job I expected of it. It’s good that it is low profile as I had to fit it in an extremely small space. It’s pretty fast and works well; I’m very pleased with how it is contributed to my overall desktop speed. Four stars.

Der Speicher kam gut und sicher verpackt bei mir an. Verarbeitung sauber, hochwertiger als erwartet. Für den Preis-empfehlenswert.

I cant rate this better, or worse, because I was unable to really test it. When I say it wouldnt work, I dont mean that it doesnt fit because I was trying to put it into DDR4 slots. When I tried to add this to my Asus X670E board with 7950X, it just refused to POST at all. Tried everything, including complete CMOS reset etc. but when this particular memory is installed it gets stuck on DRAM test light for a while and then eventually just shuts down and never gets to the point of even giving me a video signal. Works fine with just my old RAM installed which is on the QVL for my motherboard (this memory is not). Normally not being on QVL doesnt usually mean memory wont work but this time it does.
