Cruella [Blu-ray]

Good movie not awesome but good

One of the best movies Ive seen in a while. From the acting,the plot, fashion, just all of it. Im really hoping yall will do 101 dalmatians. Please dont leave it with only this movie. I need more. Extremely impressed. A must own.

Dont listen to those who thought this was going to be a bright childrens movie. Watch it for what it is...the story of the life of Cruella!

Totally unpredictable we all loved it, from 7 year olds to 90 year olds

3 1/2 Stars. Cruella begins with voice over for the first 15 minutes detailing the early life of Estella. Shamefully the film starts off in 1964, yet the song playing overhead is Bloody Well Right from Supertramp from 1974. Ill never understand how music supervisors think they can get away with this sort of error in continuity. Really bad. There are several instances when the music changes from one era to another in the same scene. How does this happen with a film budget of $100 million? My other complaint is the lack of character development from Estella from age 10-20. We see a child, then we see Emma Stone playing a 20 year old (she was 32 during production). I think a bit of character development wouldve served the story well with all the twists and turns. Overall the actors do a fine job with props to the two Emmas (Stone and Thompson). Supporting characters were good too with Paul Walter Hauser stealing the show in some scenes (hes a star thats been in the shadows too long). Music selection was very good yet none were placed into scenes to great effect. Fine movie to turn off your mind and enjoy.

Liked it for family movie night!

Excellent actors and kept our attention but too dark of a film for Disney. Mirrored The Devil Wears Prada. Advised friends that this was not a good one for a the kids. Disney exists to …”inspire people.” Our take away: felt inspired to always choose my dark mean side?

The is one of the lamest movies Disney has ever made. The movie is obnoxious all the way through. Do yourself a favor and go to a high school music production where the students are usually off key for more enjoyable entertainment experience.

The writing was brilliant. The acting was very good. This is one of Disney’s best remakes! Highly recommend this movie!! My entire family loved it. Even grandma
