    We took our first Cruise in August of 19. We read about taking a power strip due to limited outlet space in the rooms. We went on Carnival, and they confiscated the power strip we took in August (and the extension cord). I made sure it was a non-surge power strip, but it didnt matter. We decided to Cruise Carnival again in December or 19, and I bought this to give it a try. Had this in our carry-on, and they didnt even flinch over it. Got right on with it, no problem. Having the extra outlet spaces, and the built in USB power was perfect. However, be advised, that at least on Carnival, in the room we had, due to the orientation of the outlet in our room, this didnt fit correctly in the outlet. It would not fit flush, and stuck out a little at an angle due to the orientation of the grounding plug in the outlet. Had the outlet on the ship been rotated 180*, it would have been fine. It still worked for us, no problem, and we always unplug when we leave the room anyway. But, when we go again, we are taking a 12 inch extension cord to use with this, so the orientation of the outlet wont matter.

    I recently purchased the Cruise Power Strip with USB Outlets. When the product arrived I was amazed at how small and light it is: Perfect for taking along on any trip. Ive not used it yet so I can not comment on its durability in travel and use, but the product is well made and should be very strong and durable.
