People complain about equipment that comes with the large AC receptacle in the rear and it makes it difficult to put the unit against the wall on a shelf, so this is the problem solver. I looked on Amazon and there it was at a reasonable prioce. It solved the problem.

I used this for an oscilloscope that normally has the power cable sticking out of the side. This way it could fit on a shelf leaving room for equipment to get stacked right next to it. The adapter worked great. It fits well, does not work loose, and provides a stable connection. The power does not get interrupted if you wiggle it. The construction quality is good, it doesnt look or feel cheap and seems fairly rugged. Just be mindful you buy the right type, depending on the orientation of the IEC power socket on your device. Its a little expensive but it does the job perfectly so Im satisfied.
