This has plenty of functions that are useful when your looking for something to edit your videos, but it takes quite a bit of practice. Ive used some of there software before, albeit from earlier years, but even then this took time to get used to. Dont get me wrong, its got some great features to use on videos...you just might spend longer trying to figure out how to find and use them the first few times you need to. That being said, there is a decent amount of resources available, so your not thrown to the wolves, you just have to be patient using it.

I have always wanted to start doing review videos of products. This honestly is a pretty simple software to navigate through and honestly gives me hope that I will some day get to do my video product reviews. I am not verry tech savvy, but this software is pretty simple to understand.

Wow. This editing software is pretty darn amazing for something less than a hundred dollars. For me it was a little difficult to use do to me having just average computer knowledge. This is helping me definitely understand computer software editing. I am enjoying this software very much and you will to. This a buy for sure.

Im early on the learning curve with CyberLink PowerDirector 21. Ive worked with still photos in PhotoShop Elements and other software, but this is my first venture into video work. The learning curve is steep, but the software has lots of explanatory and tutorial videos. Prior versions of PowerDirector have tons of tutorial videos, template designs and other helpful things on YouTube. If, like me, you are new to video editing, this is a good place to start. When first opening the program, it appears overwhelming, but starting with the excellent and detailed tutorials, you come up to speed to get started pretty quickly. The software has some computer requirements that might be beyond your machine if you are using an older machine with minimal memory or a slow processor. Amazon pages for the product dont show system requirements, so I added a photo of the side of the box showing the system requirements. The program comes with an installation DVD, but it also has the link for downloadable software if your computer does not have a DVD drive. Im happy with this software and look forward to gaining the skills needed to use most of the capabilities.

This is a full featured video editor that should do all that is needed for YouTubers and the like. You can clip videos, stitch videos together, speed up and slow them down, add transitions between videos, add audio tracks, intros and much more. The only thing that I wish it had is the ability to rotate videos simply. Yes, it can rotate them to whatever angle you wish, it just takes multiple steps. No big deal when you are involved with an editing project, its just that it becomes a project if that is all you want to do. If it included a right-click file explorer rotate option, that would be perfect.

I recently bought a laptop just to dedicate to video editing. I have some skill in Adobe software but a friend recommended this Cyberlink package for its ease of use and broad application with quick results. He knows Im always in a hurry and have no patience. This products promises certainly is impressive and installation was a breeze. I am still learning the programs and my first need is to polish and post a video I took of a kitty who was demonstrating early signs of kidney failure. It is a very curiously odd symptom, the cat will make a bone-crunching noise with its teeth while it eats soft food. This is while the cat appears perfectly healthy. So this oddity may be noticed as curious, or even cute, so Id like to get warning posted online that this is the time your cat needs a vet ASAP. So this product is serving a serious mission from the get-go! Though I am sure I will also be creating recreational and entertaining output as I gain expertise. Ill be back to update this review with my accomplishment. Kudos to the software creators that know the importance of easy-to-use applications with professional results for a public that does not want to prolong any learning curve in computer science! This serves a huge audience. I recommend giving this product your trust as I am.

A bit of background for reference. I am a novice when it comes to video editing. I previously purchased a product called Adobe Premier that was my first attempt at editing home videos. Although I was able to use it a little, it proved way too complicated for a beginner. I picked up this product hoping it will be easier to learn and use. The short answer is no, this program isnt for someone wanting to just do simple drag and drop editing. I found the controls a bit clunky and unrefined in ways. For example, trying slow reverse or forward to the exact spot to cut was ridiculously difficult. Cut and delete vs cut and keep seemed backwards. You would think everything between the beginning and end markers would be deleted but not with this product. Rendering a 1 hour 1080P video is excruciating slow, especially for a workstation with an AMD Ryzen R9-5950 processor and RTX-3070TI gpu. All in all from the perspective of a newbie, I found this product not that easy to learn and some of features did not meet my expectations. For experienced users, they may be able to get more productivity from the product since there are many features available. For the casual user who just wants to create quick videos, maybe not.

My 13 year old has been editing his YouTube videos on Inshot. He learned how to use in a class I had to practically force him to try this software. It is incredible the difference between this and the other software. There are so many more options and upgrades. I look forward to him getting more comfortable with this Cyberlink Software.

For basic video editing software, this works fine. Installation was easy, with no issues in Windows 10 Pro. I use Adobe Premiere Elements primarily, which I prefer - but it is more complicated to use. If you need good, basic video editing with a few extra bells and whistles, this is a nice software package.
