I love that I can use these for task lighting when I am sewing. The ends can be adjusted slightly to aim in the direction where I need it and I appreciate that it isnt a huge light in my face. The fact that it is rechargeable is a plus bonus as who wants to deal with changing batteries anymore?

This provides just enough light (at the top level with both lights on) to read a book or magazine in a dark room. (Yes, paper still exists.) Once I put it around my neck I forgot it was there. Suggested improvements: - This really ought to have a master power switch. (You have to turn on each light individually. And set the brightness levels independently. ) - This should resume the last settings on powering up. (You not only have to control each light independently but you have to set up brightness back to your preferred level.) All that said, this will be especially handy whenever I share the bed and want to read without disturbing my bedmate.

One of the lights died after less than 2 months since purchase. Amazon says I’m past the return window so I’m stuck with a half a neck flashlight. Very disappointed.

I got this light on a whim, thinking about how many times I want to read while my family watches tv. It gives off a perfect amount of light, and I like how it has different levels of brightness. It is lightweight around my neck, so I barely even notice it. A charging cable is included, but no brick (which I expected). I will update if things go awry, but so far, its a keeper!

Easier on/off wearing compared to a headlamp. I set and unset rat traps in a tree after dark and before sunrise or else I end up catching birds attracted by the peanut bait. I need both hands for the traps so this light frees both hands. Its also ideal for reading with the 3 adjustable light levels, you can selected a level of lighting thats comfortable for your eyes. My wife saw it, likes to read in bed and of course this light device is attractive, so she confiscated it. Im back to the headlamp.

So the box indicates “three kinds of color light;” however the three colors are blue, pink, and black, which you can choose from for color of the neck reading lamp, not the light itself. It is comfortable to wear around your neck and good for focused reading. This unit is basic and functional with clickable options for light brightness.

Great neck light. Love the color. My mom uses it when crocheting in bed. Said it helps her to see the stitches easier and is easy to use. She like the various color tones and brightness settings. Better for her than a headlamp.

This reading light is absolutely fantastic. Previously I was stuck using lights that clamp onto your book. Every time you utilize one of those you’re risking damage to the book itself. But - and I don’t know why - I love to read in the dark. And while I do have a Kindle I still adore physical media. So that’s a problem! This genius little light solves my issues entirely. I can read sitting up or lying down with no issues. The light is absolutely bright enough to read by but won’t hurt your eyes. This is a bedside-table must for me.

Cute and pretty comfortable, but boys love using this to read books in bed. Works like a charm.

I originally got this thinking it’d be nice for reading at night. It certainly works great for that. My wife tried the light out as well since she does a lot of knitting & crocheting. She said it was really useful and lightweight. She said it was particularly helpful with darker yarns. One things I wanted to try was using this with my Playdate console. If you have one of those, you know the screen doesn’t have any type of backlight. You end up angling yourself just right so a nearby light shines directly on the screen unless you’re in a very brightly lit room or outdoors. This little neck light is a fantastic solution to the Playdate lighting problem. At the medium or high brightness setting, the Playdate looks *super* sharp and is perfect in an otherwise dark room. There are three color temperatures and three brightness modes. You tap the button to change brightness and long press the button to change color temperature. It remembers color temperature between uses, but you do have to cycle through the brightness levels to get to the “off” state. There are two lights - one on the left and one on the right. Both are controlled independently. Brightness & color temperature can be set differently for each light if you wanted to do that. I do wish there was one set of controls to keep both lights in sync, but it’s not that much of a hassle considering you’ll probably pick a color temperature once and then just a few taps to get to your preferred brightness each time. The weight is great - it’s barely noticeable, but still heavy enough that it sits in place well. The wire is just right - flexible enough to get into whatever position you need, but still enough to stay there. It charges with USB-C and comes with a short USB-A to USB-C cable if you need one (though there isn’t a wall adapter so you’ll need to provide one yourself or plug it into a computer, etc). The charging cable isn’t very long or high quality, but it will get the job done. I love that it has a built-in battery so I don’t have to worry about replacing the batteries. The built quality seems OK - the buttons on both sides do rattle a bit on mine - but they function fine. Overall, you can’t go wrong with this if you need any type of hands-free light a few feet in front of you. It’s not flashlight bright, so I don’t think I’d use it outdoors as a flashlight substitute unless I was in a pinch, but it’s perfect for reading, crafting, or playing games. It’s a great value for the price.
