> 3 dayNot to knock anyone else who has written a review, but after doing thorough testing with over the counter lead test kits I have determined that the soap legitimately does work. Pick up a lead test kit at your local pharmacy, go to the range & shoot a bit, test when you’re done at the range if there’s any lead on your hands (which there should be) & use the soap as directed. Then take another test and you’ll see that about an hour after you let your hands dry the lead test will show negative.i love this stuff and will probably be picking up the bigger bottle.

> 3 dayI was the environmental manager and part of the job included a regulatory compliance program for a fire assay lab that performed precious metals analysis. The employees used loads of lead foil daily. They would routinely clean lab with industrial soap. We underwent a OSHA compliance inspection where the inspector took wipe samples of the lab surfaces. We found in spite of our best efforts virtually everything in the lab was contaminated. The floor, chairs, benchtops, the phone, the key boards, everything. I looked for an effective deleading soap and I found D-Lead. We conducted subsequent lead sampling after using this product and had no hits for lead. Lead sloughs off early on to your hands and will subsequently contaminate everything you touch. You can test for yourself by buying a lead paint sample kit from a hardware store and check your work surfaces as well as areas you may have contaminated. The lead paint test kit will show color change when used to test contaminated materials and surfaces. There no color change when the contaminated surface is cleaned with D-Lead. I am a chemist and I play with dangerous materials if improperly managed. I also shoot and cast my own bullets. I swear by this soap and I use it whenever I work with lead. It works like a top. You can by a lead test kit and see the results for yourself.

Greater than one weekI hope its doing its job. Seems like a very good buy for something as important as not poisoning yourself to death for the sake of your craft.

21-11-2024After I load magazines or handle bullets or when I come home from the range this is the cleaning product I use. It gets rid of everything, has a good smell and leaves my hands clean, best option for me after a day with firearms.
