> 3 dayWell-built sturdy metal chassis and easy to use. You dont even need to worry about crossover cables anymore, the ports auto-sense if its an uplink. Nothing to configure, just plug in and go. If you need a few more ports, this is easy to hang off your existing router/switch combo. Attach all your gigabit devices to it for a really fast local network, such as between a PC and a NAS which is how I am using this unit.

> 3 dayI really love this switch, it does everything that a normal switch does but also has amber lights to alert you if your device is connected at 100Mbps and not 1Gbps. Some devices can only run at 100Mbps so that can be a little annoying if you have OCD because all the blinking lights will not be the same color. If you plug a 1Gbps device next to a 100Mbps device, the lights are too close together and you may get confused about which device is sending traffic.

> 3 dayThis hub works great and does a fantastic job. I love the way that the Ethernet activity is indicated with the LED lamps on the unit and you instantly know that the port is active and functional. I hate to say it but I somehow found the ability to drop this Hub at least three separate times as I was installing it and those drops were from up to three feet and down to a hardwood floor so no soft carpet for it to land on. After the third drop and thud sound as the metal case hit the floor, I was just anxious that my mistakes were going to cost me a working hub but in the case of this metal case it took a licking and kept on ticking, so to say.
