> 24 hourThis light is quite bright. At $40, this is a really good deal. The light bar is absolutely magnet mount, and has suction cup feet under the magnets to protect against scratching and give a little more holding power. The remote is definitely the weak point of this product, but its not terrible. The remote will not stand up to the elements so it should be inside an enclosed cab. I love that it has a little LED display that shows the pattern that you have flashing on the light bar so you know what youve selected. I think this is a great addition to my storm chasing truck. For $40, I would recommend this product!

> 24 hourWe travel in our motorhome a lot and tow a vehicle behind it, so I thought this would be a good product to have on hand for emergency use. Basically, I wanted something to place on the roof of our tow vehicle only when we are pulled off on the side of the highway for a blown tire or some other emergency. In my opinion, this light is great for that purpose, but I am not sure how it would hold up for someone that was using it full time based on its design. I like that it has strong magnets with suction cups to attach it to the roof of our car, and it is very easy to just plug it into the cigarette lighter to power it up. The controller is a bit “clunky” in my opinion and should be fine for our occasional use, but I’m not sure how durable it would be for someone using it full time. I think it is a decent emergency light, but I have never owned anything like it so only time will tell the longevity of it. Overall, with my first impressions I wouldn’t say it’s a home run, so I am only giving it 4 stars.

> 24 hourThis beacon light is very bright, and effective as an emergency beacon. It stays put on the hood of my SUV well, but would likely not stay put if I drove with it over 30 mph. So I am only using this when I stop the SUV on the side of the road as a warning light. For that purpose this works perfectly as this item is light weight and easily attached to the lighter plug. The remote is fragile and as one other reviewer noted, likely to fail before the light does. Unfortunately, the remote is critical, and I took off one star for having such a fragile remote, especially for use in a vehicle. That said, this beacon offers so many lighting options, you will like at least four of them. They cover all the options, and the light is bright enough to fully serve as an emergency or warning beacon.

> 24 hourSo the mounts are a group of magnets, and they have a rubber cover over them. Somehow this rubber cover is supposed to suction the light to the metal? The rubber cover is not permanently attached to the light, so how would it help hold the light down? Anyways. The light is actually pretty bright, something lots of mini lightbars have trouble with. It can get my attention from about 250 feet away in bright daylight. The power switch on the plug and then having to press a button on the controller to turn the light on seems a bit odd to me. The controller having a panel that shows you which number the pattern you have selected in a feature I have never seen before, and I think that is pretty handy. I can just remember the pattern numbers I like, and easily switch between them as needed.

> 24 hourThis is a bright compact warning bar suitable for the average pickup truck plow guy or a landscaper truck that is parked on a roadway. Warning lights are essential for legal purposes too. Court decisions have weighed upon whether or not the worker victim had reasonable warning lighting. These even applies to even turning on your hazard blinkers. Not doing that and/or not having warning lights may result in lack of justice for the victim or their family.

> 24 hourThus is a pretty bright rooftop strobe. Its got a good selection of flash patterns and the controller is cool a far as an idea goes. Its on after you get it powered up. You cant hook this up to a switch because once power is off, you have to go through the startup process so over again. This needs some work. Once they figure the controllers out, it should work pretty flawlessly.

> 24 hourI do a lot of snow plowing in my rural area so I wanted a VERY bright roof top light. This definitely fits the bill. Its extremely bright and easy to install but I wouldnt call it the most high quality light. However its also not the most expensive so I think its a good value.

> 24 hourGot this to put on my truck when recovering vehicles. It is small enough to fit behind the seat when not in use and not take up to much space. The magnets and suction cups hold it well to the roof. It is very bright and works perfectly for what I needed it for.

> 24 hourOrdered this light to have some fun. It is very bright and has many different strobe patterns. Good solid suction cup mounting to roof. Control has button functions listed on the back and a screen on the controller shows what pattern is being displayed.
