> 3 dayThis thing feels like it should last a long time, very solid. Other than that, it switches, so it works.

Greater than one weekBoth products shipped and arrived as scheduled. The logbook should have been wire bound instead of glued together. This configuration makes it almost impossible to enter information. Not a very good design. The antenna selector made it possible to switch between the two antennas easily.

> 3 dayHigh Quality produce and delivered with speed. This is a very solid antenna switch and is easy to use either with two antennas and a single radio which is what I do OR of course two radios into a single antenna.

> 3 dayI paid more for this based on reviews and recommendations. It is heavy, and solidly built. The switch is sturdy and confident. Order this one when you need a coaxial switch

18-11-2024Good SHORTING coax switch. Contrary to some reviews here, the version of the switch I received does indeed short the center conductor of the non-selected connector (port) to the switch case, and hence to the coax shields of connected cables, and to ground if the coax switch case is grounded, as it should be in many installations.. Tech data on any of the major ham radio equipment supplier Web sites will confirm this. In many cases, this shorting is good, but may not be appropriate if this switch is used to connect one of two transmitters to an amplifier, antenna tuner, or antenna - keying a transceiver transmitter into a short circuit will be hard on your transmitter final amplifier - unless you like the hassle and cost of replacing final amp transistors :)

> 3 dayI am a ham radio operator and have a long wire antenna in my back yard. It works great with my ham radio. I bought this to switch the antenna to my very old Heathkit Most Accurate Clock. The clock no longer resets to the correct time with just a little antenna, it needed a stronger signal. At first I would swap the PL259 antenna connectors manually. During the day the big antenna went to the ham radio, overnight I put the big antenna to the clock. I got tired of moving the connectors. So I use this switch, one click - antenna moved. . NOTE: if doing this with a transmitter such as my ham radio, BE SURE to have the antenna switched to the radio, I do this prior to even powering up my ham radio. . The switch has been in use for several weeks and the click to switch feels positive and has never failed. Its a quality device from a brand that I have used for decades without ever getting a dud.
