I wish I had more of these sock! These are my go-to socks when I know when Im going to be on my feet for long periods of time. I also enjoy wearing these for everyday endeavors. These are great in any weather, hot or cold, dry or wet. These are the most comfortable socks I own for wet conditions. I have used these in 15+ hour endurance events where you are any combination of cold, wet, sandy, muddy, or all at the same time and my feet have fared well when coupled with blister cream and sock liners. These are also very durable socks. I have a pair that looks practically brand new after wearing them regularly for a year and putting they through some relatively abusive or harsh environments. Recently I had trudge around in sock feet because the mud I was running through kept on pulling my shoes off. In this event, I had to walk in socks through mud for about 1/4 mile maybe a bit more, then hopped in the lake with a very rocky bottom to rinse the mud off and cram my feet back in my shoes for another 12+ hours without a sock change. Keeps warmer than pure wool socks I had. Not as thick as I expected. I am of small build and feet size 41-42 (EU). Bought medium size which offers very snug fit. Folks with bigger build (e.g. bigger ankle) might want to consider one size larger. Remains to be seen how durable they are.
