> 3 dayI initially balked at paying $20+ for a pair of socks, but when I eventually did, I was sold. This is my 6th pair, and not because the others wore out, because I havent worn a pair out, yet. They are very comfortable as work socks or hiking socks. Warm in the winter, and sweat wicking in the summer, they are year-round socks. Honestly, theyre the only socks I wear now.

> 3 dayI have found both the large and medium size fit me about the same, while the medium is a bit more snug each size is very snug. (Need to try out the extra large). So fit may be an issue, especially when wearing a liner. Other than that, these are great socks.

> 3 dayI want to love these socks. I really do. They are awesome at first. But after the first time they are washed they shrink to the point I cant get them on my feet. Originally ordered the large which according to my shoe size is what I needed. Washed once and dried on warm as the directions stated. Couldnt get them on my feet past the arch support section. So thinking maybe I needed an XL I ordered that. Same problem....the length is fine on both pairs after washing. But that arch support shrinks out of control. I did notice the L and XL feel the same width when they are new. The difference is the XL are small bit longer. Such a disappointment.

We live and work in Northfield, Vermont. Our backyard is the perfect testing ground to make the finest Premium All Weather Performance Socks. We ski, snowboard, hike, bike and run in the most unforgiving climate in the lower 48. It is under these conditions that we design, test and manufacture our socks.

After so many decades why do we still knit every pair of our socks here in Vermont? We don’t do it because it’s the easy thing to do—we do it because it’s the right thing to do. We do it because for us, it’s the only way to do it. There are faster and cheaper alternatives but nobody ever outsourced anything for quality.
