> 24 hourWe set this up and tried it with a Hisense TV and an Apple iPad and iPhone. We thought we would try this dongle because we have been unable to wirelessly cast any content other than YouTube from the iPad to the Hisense TV. And the dongle seemed to have rave foreign reviews - more on that below. But we cannot get this dongle to connect to an iPad or iPhone after trying all the permutations in the instructions. The dongle home screen shows up on the TV but neither the so-called IOS system mirroring function nor the DNLA network connection connects. We get halfway through the menu items and everything stops. We gave up after about 2 hours of fooling with this. We didn’t try a different TV, an Android device, or a Windows PC so cannot comment on whether those might connect. In any case, reading about wireless dongles on the internet it appears that directly connecting the iPad to the TV with a HDMI cable is more reliable and faster than a wireless connection. That is something we can do and that works for us. After our struggles attempting to connect the dongle I was curious about all the 5 star foreign-language reviews so I selected the Amazon menu button that translates them into English. To my surprise, NONE of these reviews are reviews of the dongle. They are apparently about some movie or TV show that people seem to like. I suggest you just ignore those foreign ratings. We have no idea how the foreign-language reviews got listed as reviews of the dongle. If I had bought the dongle I would return it.

> 24 hourThis is a cool little gadget. It’s very simple to hook up and use and allows you to mirror what’s on your phone to your tv or other monitor. I wasn’t expecting the picture to be as good as it is and there’s no lag. Very happy with this!

> 24 hourI used to have a Google Chromecast, but quite frankly I think Im done with Google devices. My Chromecast has recently become completely unreliable, and for some reason, its just not getting recognized by any device. Ive had two Google pixel phones that malfunctioned terminally for me, so I think that Im done with all Google devices. This screen mirror device is a very simple to use item, that connects easily, and displays the image with next to no lag. I love that theres no requirement for downloading apps, or making login information, its simply almost plug and play. The signal is reliable, and its a great innovative tool to simplify, what should be a simple task. My wife and I like to stream certain programs from my laptop from time to time, which sits about 25 feet away from my big screen TV. Like I mentioned, thats where the Chromecast used to come in, but this HDMI signal receiver, mirrors the image just as well, or even better. So far, its worked to perfection, and I have nothing to complain about. I think if youre deciding whether to buy a device like this, or a Chromecast, I would highly recommend purchasing this over the Google Chromecast. Its also small and portable, so its easy to take with you when you travel. I just think overall, its a very well thought out device, that has worked to perfection for me. Id certainly recommend it.

> 24 hourAs with any wireless display technology, thisbis not perfect. However, its extremely easy to use: plug it in, and you can connect to it with AirPlay. Click the convenient button on the top, and you can connect with an Android device. If you do not have a smart TV, you can use this to *easily* stream from your phone or laptop. I personally purchased this so that I can connect to my office monitors without having to unplug and replug. *very* handy. If you wamt to something more sophisticated like DLNA streaming, setup is kind of a pain, but once you get past that hurdle, my streaming connections were rock solid.

> 24 hourI ordered this to stream and cast from my laptop to my projector easily. This is surprisingly easy to set up and install. I just plugged it in, and there is no app to install or download. This is truly plug-and-play. I had it set up and working in under 5 minutes. It is 5g, is straightforward, and works very well. It has all the proper cables included. The HDMI cable is 24, which is helpful in not having unsightly wires.

> 24 hourI tried it with my Android phone and it refused to work, but it worked effortlessly with my laptop, and I can totally see myself using another monitor to show my wife things when we work on budget or whatever so shes not squeezing into my desk space, but rather across from me looking at another screen. Its amazing how you can just cast to a remote device, not sure how secure it is so I wont be sharing any too sensitive. I do wish it worked with my Android, but the instruction was geared towards Samsung or assumes certain options were available. My phone is mid-range, so I am surprised I couldnt get it to work, kind of disappointed in that.

> 24 hourSetting up this wireless HDMI adapter was super easy. I just connected it to my TV with the included HDMI cable and powered it up through the USB port. I was able to immediately pair it with my iPhone, iPad Pro, and MacBook Pro. Screen mirroring through AirPlay worked well with very little latency between my mobile devices and the TV screen. Image quality is excellent with no visible artifacts. Video plays smoothly with no stuttering or freezing. Transmitted audio also sounds very clear. This is an excellent product for the price, that makes sharing your mobile device screen simple. Easy Five Stars. Highly recommended.

> 24 hourThe pros of this screen casting device are numerous. As long as you have a TV or monitor that can accept HDMI or RCA (yellow, red, white) plugs, you can cast your iOS, andriod, or windows device. I tested it out with my iPad. I tried to set it up without reading the instructions at first. I quickly found that I needed to read the instructions - but they were neither long nor complicated. After that - easy-peasy - my screen was cast to a device that did not have built-in screen cast reception. Nice!

> 24 hourEasy to setup & use: I was very impressed with how easy this product was to set up and start using. No apps to download, no passwords to remember, just turn on the screen mirroring function on your phone or laptop, select the device and youre good to go. Compared to some other devices like Chromecast or Firestick, with all the wifi connects, logins and password resets, this is a great alternative and perfect for hotel stays and other trips. Multiple connections: While this is billed as an HDMI connector, the device actually also comes with an RCA adapter! So if youre staying at your in-laws and only have an old TV to work with, youll still be able to connect to Netflix with ease. Overall, I was pretty impressed with this little unit and would definitely recommend it.
