> 24 hourI have used the D&D power drive belts for a few years now on deck drive and wheel drive applications. With that being said, I have never had one of them fly apart. Installed properly the belt will last a long time. Installing the drive belt is suggested in the owners manual that you have a professional do the work, Im no professional! What you need to do is drop mower deck and remove. Raise front of tractor and use jack stands or similar for bracing. You will need a 1/2 breaker bar or impact and a 15 inch adjustable wrench to remove blade clutch off of crankshaft. Place wrench on double flats just above bolt head in shaft. Use breaker bar or impact to remove bolt and clutch assembly. You may need two sets of hands for this. Replace drive belt in same configuration it came off. There is a picture in manaual that should show routing of belt around idler pulleys in middle of frame. When placing clutch assembly on shaft it helps to feed belt on to pulley at same time. DO NOT re-tighten bolt with impact, use a torque wrench and torque bolt 36 to 50 foot pounds. I went down the middle on specification. Reinstall deck, done!

> 24 hourMy drive belt broke after 8 years, and this one went on easily and works like a charm. The Kevlar reinforcement should make it stronger than the original belt. Hopefully itll last as long, if not longer.

> 24 hourWorked all summer. Still works. Its very easy to damage these when installing them, since many people do it without removing the pulley. Take catastrophic failure complaints with a grain of salt.
