D&D PowerDrive ORB-H-1118 Craftsman Poulan Noma 429636, 197253 Kevlar Replacement Belt, 1/2 x 101, 4LK Section, Rubber

I bought a few replacements belts in the past and they never lasted more than a few times mowing. I was all but ready to buy a craftsman original until I read the post that a fellow used it on a craftsman DYS 4500 and had great luck. I have the same mower DYS 4500 so I thought I give it a try. The belt is slightly longer than the original, but it’s slightly thicker so it takes up the slack. I mowed about 15 times just under a acre of lawn. Shows no signs of wear. Just ordered a spare one. I was going to order two but thought this one is working so well why do I need two spares. Special thanks to the poster with the DYS 4500.

THE BELT IS A TAD TIGHT BUT SHOULD LOOSEN OVER TIME

Easy to install. Works on Craftsman 917.289101. This drives the mower blades, not the belt you need to propel the mower forward and backward.

Broke after five minutes of use,had to go to tractor supply and buy a different brand belt that is still going strong

Defective garbage! Bought two of these belts and none of them lasted longer than a month. Eventually, I had to buy a blue Huskee mower belt from TSC and its worked out perfectly! Steer clear of these overpriced junk and just buy a blue Huskee mower belt instead and save yourself some headaches and cash in the process.

Purchased for Craftsman lawn tractor. This was to replace my old belt 429636 and this belt is way too loose. I thought Id give it a try and only used the tractor 3 times and now the belt is slipping and way way too loose. Will have to by another brand elsewhere. Dont buy if you are replacing part number 429636.

Belt started burning and smoking just after install. Within three minutes of use the belt, shredded and failed.
