They appear to be identical in construction size etc and cost less. Time will have to tell if they hold up but appear to be doing fine so far.

Installed belt, worked perfect the first day. Next time I went to use mower the belt loosened up and mower barely moved. Had to purchase a oem belt.

This belt lasted a long time even when a little wet.

There are lots of non OEM belts being sold so it is difficult to sort through the ads and pick something that works well and will be reliable, and at a reasonable price. I have been running the new belt for a month and so far works pretty well. The original belt on my craftsman tractor lasted 10 years. The aftermarket belt then lasted 5 years. Hopefully this belt will be more like the OEM belt. Time will tell.

After 18 years my Craftsman LTX1000 decided to not want to go up a small incline unless I went very slow - Ordered this belt from Amazon and it came within a day - the Belt appears to be a good quality product but I guess time will tell - To install you must remove the Deck to install but once that is out of the way theres enough room - I have the Owners Manual that came with the mower and it said to move the belt away from the 2 small Idler Pulleys and then the small Engine Pulley, then the Drive Pulley followed by the larger Engine Pulley - after messing with this way I finally ended up cutting the old on off - for installation it basically wanted you to reverse the steps and after awhile I could see that I wasnt going to be able to install it on the Drive Pulley first and then the Engine Pully so I installed it on the shaft between the 2 Engine Pulleys and very carefully routed it around the Drive Pulley and then the small Engine Pulley and then the 2 small Idler Pulleys - installed the Deck and it drives like new - Again the Belt appears to be a quality Belt and the fit was good
