> 24 hourUnfortunately Dell did not ship the prefects needed to add a second drive and I was not able to order it through them. This saved me from returning the laptop.

> 24 hourI used this piece to install a 1tb Samsung ssd in my 17 Dell G7 7700. It looked exactly like the pre-installed bracket that came with the stock ssd. This piece was perfect. Apparently, this can be a difficult part to find through Dells official channels. Its often on backorder and can be a pain to track down. Save yourself the hassle and just buy this. It will ship much faster, and you wont regret it.

> 24 hourIt correctly engages the dimples in the memory slot to secure the ssd. Some ssd just mount directly with a very tiny screw but some like the Dell, require this style of retaining clip. I didnt realize it and had to buy this kit. I have mounted SSDs directly before and didnt realize until I treated myself to an upgrade.

> 24 hourGot a new G7 7700 and the service manual said that a 2nd NVMe drive was NOT supported if it only came with one from the factory which is bovine waste. I had to scour the web looking for parts and luckily Dell had the heat-sink bracket (#KKCTR for the bracket and #9JFJ7 for the screw) for less than half the price shown here. They were out of the little mounting bracket so I bought this one and it works a treat!

> 24 hourFit my Dell G7 laptop perfectly. Was able to install an additional m.2 NVMe drive. I think its way overpriced, but could not find any reasonable alternative.

> 24 hourThe bracket was an exact fit for my Dell G7 17-7700. Screwed in a 2280 SSD, stuck on a copper heat sink, closed up and rebooted. Job done.
