Product is fantastic (if you know what you are doing). This price is unreasonable. 30% more than even the local hobby store. Get it from someone else. Micro bottles at medium bottle prices.

I had an old car model with very fragile decals. The combination of the two solvents help me finish my project.

These are for experienced modelers. I have not used them because they can soften and destroy decals. This is noted on the label

Have used it on a few old models where decal never adapted well to irregular surface and even on old models the Sol worked great. Now I use it on every single build. Don’t know how I lived without this stuff!

I preface by stating Im just a beginner or starter builder for gundam/gunpla. Some decals are just pure madness in the curves and wraps that need to be done, think circles and angled arc circle slides. This product will work, but it just doesnt hold that well and I still see silvering, almost everywhere, and thats for primed, painted and sealed and relatively flat surfaces. I switched over to Mr. Mark Softer and Setter, and it really is night and day. Decals really do stick and wrap surfaces, maybe even too well. I know, Im being harsh, this product will work and the price is excellent, but if you can spend more, go for Mark, its just easier overall, especially when your model has like @100+ decals...

I’ve been working with decals my entire life and never knew this product existed! If you’re going to put decals on something like a guitar headstock and want that pro look you need this stuff. Trust me.

The rating is for the vendor, who sent the product quickly. The product, it turn out, is also very good--have used it for a long time.

These came together both sealed and in a bag with other products and were packaged quite well. When I opened the bag they were in I got a very odd smell and I truly thought maybe it had leaked but, that wasnt the case. The odor on these products in a sealed small bag just produce a lot of odor. Great product though if you wanna put decals on your models.

Micro Set is a very versatile decal setting solution that does several things to Microscale Decals to improve application. Micro Set should be applied to the surface of the model where you will be sliding the decal off the paper backing. Micro Set prepares the surface with special wetting agents that cut the oils in new paint and converts the adhesive on the back of the decal to a stronger and longer lasting one. In addition, Micro Set slightly softens the decal film to make it more flexible so that it will conform better to the model"s surface. Better adhesion of the decal to the model prevents tiny air bubbles from forming and results in an invisible carrier film for the so-called "painted on look." To apply Micro Set: Use a soft flat artist"s brush and apply Micro Set where you are going to apply the decal. Then slide the decal off the backing paper using a small pointed tip synthetic bristle brush to carefully position the decal in its proper position. Blot the decal carefully with a tissue or paper toweling, being careful not to disturb its position. Allow the decal to dry overnight. It will then be ready for a protective coat of Micro Coat Flat, Satin or Gloss.

Micro Sol setting solution is for the most difficult irregular surfaces to be found on models. It completely softens the Microscale Decal, allowing it to drape down onto the surface of the model, conforming perfectly to surface irregularities without distortion. The most amazing results in seemingly impossible places are possible because Micro Sol actually makes the decal part of the painted surface. For that reason, you should coat Micro Sol on for only a few seconds and then leave it alone. It does the work. Do not touch until the decal has dried, as the decal is very soft at this stage and could be easily damaged. For the best results, first apply Micro Sol to prepare the surface and enhance the adhesive. Make sure the surface is free of particles that could get under the decal"s film and
