> 3 dayThis is the coolest thing ever! Much better build, quality, versatility, and functionality than Blackmagic products. First, the digital display makes it super easy to set up. It’s sturdy, made well, and comes with everything you need...even a mounting bracket! It’s not made in Germany, but you would think it was! The instructions could be worded a bit better but they are very helpful if you have a good understanding of what you’re trying to accomplish. The dual inputs also eliminated the need for a switch box if you happen to have two sources you want to occasionally switch between. The only things I could possibly ask for is the ability to adjust the output IRE to 7.5, and to assign different scaler settings for the two outputs, but that’s not a huge deal for what it already does at this price point.

> 3 dayI have used the Desimator converter before for work, and needed a converter box for our churches live-streaming project. I knew just the one I needed and it works great. I use it to convert a SD HDMI output on an older iMac to a HD HDMI signal going into a Blackmagic switcher. It works flawlessly.

> 3 dayThis thing is a great piece of hardware to keep around for people working in live video. Its a scaler, format converter, distribution amp/duplicator and HDMI/SDI converter all in one. Plus, it can perform multiple jobs at once. You can convert an SDI to HDMI, while changing the frame rate and resolution and having a loop out of SDI, while at the same time converting a separate HDMI signal to multiple SDI outputs.

> 3 dayDoes the SDI and HDMI conversions I need, I have this one to back up my MD-Cross V2, Honestly it does everything I need the MD cross to do for $100 less. I use it to hold the signal to a switcher active so presenters can plug and unplug their laptops without affecting the switcher.
