> 3 dayFirst of all, let me preface this by saying that if youre on the fence with this... BUY IT! Amazing product! I had always read review of people raving over this and while it had a VERY good reputation in the broadcast world, it was never something I NEEDED. Until last week. Long story short we had a Mac Pro not being recognized by an ATEM Production Studio 4K and needed it. Bad. We had tried software, SwitchResX and the like never seemed to work for us. After hearing about this product for so long I bit the bullet and bought one. Best purchase I have ever made hands down. Works like a charm after figuring out how to properly set it up. No issues for us whatsoever and I would highly recommend this product to anyone else!

> 3 dayno more dedicated converter boxes or having the wrong one ! anything HDMI or SDI in to anything HDMI or SDI out. even does the odd frame rate conversions like 25p->59.94i. real life saver when dealing with older and picky HD gear that will only take certain signals. it also supports almost any flavor of frame aspect conversion too.

> 3 dayThe Decimator is a workhorse piece of gear. A great alternative with almost no limitations. This is not just a cross-converter but also re-scales and transforms signals to different frame rates. I use this with a computer monitor that doesnt accept 24fps or 30fps signals because of the refresh rate of 60htz. I can also use the HDMI out as a loop through signal and splitter for other monitors.

> 3 dayGreat converter box. I have installed probably 10 in the last year or so. If you get confused by menus, connect to a computer and use the app to configure, its a little less intimidating. You can also save your settings to the computer as well -- useful for installs if someone Accidently tinkers with the settings. I mainly use this to make Macs/PCs nicely interface with BlackMagic ATEM switchers - it always seems to work.

Greater than one weekYes, it accepts that input but outputs 59.9 Frames which my downstream equipment will not accept. Only choice from here is the Amazon to feed all your HDMI Teleprompter Screens: Hall Research SC-HD-2B 4K/60Hz HDMI Scaler with Audio Embed/Extract & Image Flip Capability @ https://www.amazon.com/Hall-Research-SC-HD-2B-Extract-Capability/dp/B07XKFBJDX/ref=pd_rhf_ee_p_img_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=XKQPMM8W6PYM180E3GG7

> 3 dayThese have saved me so many times, I keep a fresh stock of them at work to fill in any area they may need to fit in a HDMI/SDI environment. If you run black magic gear, then you need a scaler, these should be them. Also the fact you can go between any of its ports make it a swiss army knife of AV.

> 3 dayIve used Decimators for a number of productions, especially when converting laptops to SDI for broadcast, and theyve never failed me--PC and MacBook HDMI outputs can be converted with relative ease. This may require some set-up, depending on your source and required output, so do take time to download the Decimator software; it will be easier than trying to go through the physical menu on the device. You will also find plenty of excellent resources on YouTube that will help you configure it.
