> 24 hourThe internet suggested that I could try using this to dye wool and cashmere, and since I dont want to use a hot water dye and shrink my garments I thought Id give it a try. I either used too little dye or the water could have been less cold, but the the effect was small. I started with a grayish cream that turned a nice shade of light grayish blue after hours of soaking in the cobalt dye. I liked the outcome but if anyone has tips on how to get a more intense color without shrinking cashmere, please let me know!

> 24 hourThis color came out BEAUtiful!! Love procion dyes! if youre not sure how to use procion dye, go to Jacquard website or Dharma Trading which has a wealth of information. You will need to add salt and soda ash to this dye for it to work properly. Will buy this color again!

> 24 hourI love how pigmented the dye is. I just hate how small the container is.

> 24 hourOnly reason I knocked it down a star is that it barely held 1.5 tablespoons of powder. Now there is a blurb about ‘filled by weight. Powder density. Yada yada’ but when your instructions say 1-4 tablespoons, shouldn’t you have at least 4 tbsp in the jar??

> 24 hourExactly as described. Color was what I expected, dye held in the fabric perfectly, and I couldnt ask for anything more.

> 24 hourNot nearly as messy as the Rite dye I have used in the past, didnt stain my stainless steel sink so clean up was much easier. Nice cobalt blue color and since I stirred the twin bedspread frequently, the color was even. I did use soda ash as the instructions indicated which I purchased separately. Quite a bit more expensive than the rite dye, particularly after the addition purchase of the soda ash, but I thought Id give it a try since the rite dye ALWAYS fades Ive washed the bedspread and it didnt fade at all. No color bleed at all onto the old white towel I put in as a test!
