Exactly as described. Color was what I expected, dye held in the fabric perfectly, and I couldnt ask for anything more.

This color came out BEAUtiful!! Love procion dyes! if youre not sure how to use procion dye, go to Jacquard website or Dharma Trading which has a wealth of information. You will need to add salt and soda ash to this dye for it to work properly. Will buy this color again!

Not nearly as messy as the Rite dye I have used in the past, didnt stain my stainless steel sink so clean up was much easier. Nice cobalt blue color and since I stirred the twin bedspread frequently, the color was even. I did use soda ash as the instructions indicated which I purchased separately. Quite a bit more expensive than the rite dye, particularly after the addition purchase of the soda ash, but I thought Id give it a try since the rite dye ALWAYS fades Ive washed the bedspread and it didnt fade at all. No color bleed at all onto the old white towel I put in as a test!

I love how pigmented the dye is. I just hate how small the container is.

A lot of time and effort, yet doesnt fully dye the clothes

Just realized how VERY overpriced this brand is.

We used this dye on cushion covers for a set of wicker furniture that sits in our patio room. My husband wore gloves while dyeing, and he still had blue hands for four days. The color covered well in the beginning and looked quite nice. It hasnt come off of any other fabrics (like when you sit on it). However, after about six months, the color has faded drastically to a very light blue, without any washing or exposure to water. I wouldnt recommend it for anything that sits anywhere near any light.

I have an old denim purse that I love and use ALL the time. It had faded so much it had lost its beauty. I put it in this dye and now it looks better that it did when new. The embroidery thread must have been something other than cotton, because the flowers and leaves, etc., werent affected by the dye. And this was not a toy for me - dont know why it says it is.....

This turned into more of a faded Jean color rather than deep royal blue

Procion is a concentrated powdered dye which, when added to water, produces exceptionally brilliant color ideal for all natural materials such as cotton, rayon, linen, silk, wool, paper, reeds and wood. Use it for a variety of applications including tie-dyeing, vat dyeing, batik, airbrush, hand painting, printing and spatter painting. Generally, this 2/3 oz. jar can dye more than five yards of fabric- about nine T-shirts.
