> 24 hourI think this is one of the better values I could find on Amazon for making custom foam inserts. I have a couple secondhand cases that have deteriorating foam, and this is just what I need to customize and refresh them for use with my gear. This foam is pretty firm, very similar to what comes with a new protective case when you buy it. Unlike a different foam I tested, it is also thicker than advertised, and it came out of the shipping box in good condition, with the surfaces nice and uniform. Its pretty easy to cut, and I like that you get six sheets - it should be enough for almost any case. When I need more replacement foam, I will order more of this, I havent found a better deal.

> 24 hourI got these to put in one of my pack out cases. I have to carry torque wrenches in the 3 main sizes, 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2. Toting them around in their hard cases has usually been what I do, but still worried about bumping and jolting knocking them out of calibration. This foam is able to be cut just takes a very sharp razor and a steady hand. Now I have all three of torque wrenches nicely tucked away and held secure and padded in one of pack out cases. Very good for my peace of mind.

> 24 hourI bought these foam sheets for making drawer inserts using my laser cutter. I can confirm that a cheap 5 watt laser can cut through them. I will be buying more of these.

> 24 hourThese are just regular foam panels, not the cuttable foam you might find in equipment cases. This is the squishy kind. It is packed in a vacuum sealed bag. After removing from the bag, it will need at least 12 hours to re-expand before it reaches dimensioned size. I use it to hold items in a briefcase. Good for protection.

> 24 hourI have been wanting some of the Kaizen foam all the big shot youtuber woodworkers use to organize their tool boxes. But that stuff is pretty expensive like $120 for 2 pieces 2X4 way more than I want to spend just to keep my tools in place and if this stuff will hold up for any length of time it will be a great addition to the shop and at $22 for 5 pieces this is a steal. Its pretty firm and cuts easily being 1 thick it fits in all my drawers just fine and is thick enough to hold the tools in place.

> 24 hourThese dense foam pads are great for what they are intended for such as camera cases and hard case inserts. They can also be used for packing expensive items for shipping. They are 16 long, 12 wide, and 1 thick. You can cut them to help cushion items for safe shipping. I am a huge fan of them arriving shrink-wrapped. This saves space until you are ready to use them.

> 24 hourThere is nothing special that stands out about this foam. Thats not a bad thing. The listing is accurate, which means I need to give you a couple callouts. After that the rest is price and preferences and Ill comment on that. The Callouts: The listing headlines with rounded measurements. The actual item measurement stat farther in the listing is the correct one though: Each dimension is just slightly short of its rounded measure. I dont think I can fault them for that; Its a labeling practice/manufacturing process that is nearly universal across any measured product. I cant hate the Player here although I positively loathe the Game... I will say that with foam like this, its absolutely within the manufacturers control to cut on the lines though. If they cut the foam just slightly bigger so the headline number and the true number were identical, well that would be going that extra mile and would get another star. The second callout is that this product comes vacuum packed and super compressed. Which is kind of cool and space saving, but you have to let it rest for at least a couple days for it to relax to its full 1 thickn... uh, I mean 0.98 thickness. Now to the preferences: There are a ton of different styles and types of foam out there so its hard to get exactly the density and consistency and feel youre looking for. All I can say is that this foam is very easy to compress and it has a slight memory effect delay. When you squeeze it, it mostly comes back to shape instantly but it takes just an extra half second to finish... Good? Bad? Up to you. The other preference mingles with price in this: Looking around at several listings, I dont see any savings here. Its priced about standard for foam offerings, give or take a bit. This is dimensional foam not fill dirt; You cant take a cubic yard and spread it out. You get what you get and can only cut from there. I mean, that may be obvious but what it comes down to is: at a certain point you have to find the product with the dimensions you want and sometimes that means theres no bargain, its just the standard cost. Well, in my opinion if this is the consistency/density of foam youre looking for, and has the right dimensions, then the cost is the cost. No bargain, no gouging, its just what it is. Since when you add all this up I cant see anything that stands out, but also no actual criticisms specific to this product, it gets a middle of the road three stars from me. Dimensions is an industry-wide issue so Im not holding that as a mark against this product. Best luck. ~Cheers!

> 24 hourLa calidad bien, pero las medidas no son reales. Después de casi dos semanas las hojas no superan .9 pulgadas.

> 24 hourI need to redo the foam in a camera storage case but this foam is not stiff enough or thick enough. I knew I was in trouble when all 6 pieces of foam arrived compressed down to a little over 1/2. The foam started expanding when removed from the packaging but after 12 hours the thickest the foam got was around 3/4 each. If you have something lightweight you want to protect this might work fine but I dont trust it to protect my cameras.
