The old latch on our RV pantry door allowed the door to come flying open when we took a turn. This latch has fixed that for us. I may install it on other doors/drawers as well.

Perfect fit. My original latch didnt stay latched. New one is doing the job. The complete latches should come with replacement screws but dont. The price for a set of 4 is high. This is the reason Im giving a 4 start.

The original broke and this was an exact replacement.

Used it to replace a broken latch on the camper. Easy replacement installation. I can see this one also breaking soon. When it does, I will look for something stronger, probably in metal.

These are very useful around the house for closets and cabinets. Many RV manufacturers also use them on their coaches for drawers, wardrobe doors and cabinets also. The 5 lb pull is adequate for home. The 10 lb version is the one I prefer for an RV.You do need to pay attention to the alignment of the cam (the part on the left) with the catch. If you get them misaligned, it is possible to break the catch portion. There is lateral adjustment on the cam and the catch. Vertical orientation should be closely managed.
