> 24 hourThis thing is built very simply but really seems to check every box for what could make it good. Its heavy enough to sit still while I pull solder out of it. the little solder feeder hole is really helpful for keeping hold of the loose end of the solder (when Im finished soldering, I like to reel the wire in and tuck it around the feeder to keep it from being loose). The pin the spool sits on is a good material that lets the spool spin easily. The handle is handy for carrying the unit and when folded back it helps keep the spool from falling out. Thats actually pretty unnecessary, though, because the way the pin holding the spool slides into the unit holds it pretty solid, the handle is more of a backup in case I drop the unit, its still very unlikely for the spool to come out and roll across the floor :) Theres not much else to say, I just really like that it seems to do its job perfectly. One note I have is that, since the spool Im using isnt as wide as the unit can hold, I once had the solder wire make its way off the side of the spool and wrap down around the center pin so it stopped feeding out well. VERY minor inconvenience, only happened once, but if you are going to buy a new spool, look for one that matches the width of this unit (2-3/4 between the sides).

> 24 hourI never saw one of these before I’m embarrassed to say however I bought this a few months ago and it makes soldering so easy you just pull out what you need and roll the rest back when you’re done it will except any diameter of solder be a big roll or a small roll this will work perfectly and why I didn’t know this before and buy it I have no idea, I’m laughing and I’m pretty embarrassed but I am so glad I found this and the price is great it’s absolutely great!! I forgot what I paid for this I’m thinking it was around $19 but the same unit from Weller brand was 9995 it’s insanely price difference but this one here from Amazon is flawless it made my life so much easier I build a lot of electronics and radio control plans just makes my job more enjoyable and then I just go fly and forget everything else lol Guys for $20 you really have to give us a try you’ll be very happy

> 24 hourThis is a great little tool for PCB work. It really speeds up the job with the smooth spooling action. It’s a little thing, but not having to tug on the solder while concentrating on the board makes a real difference.

> 24 hourIf you saw this and thought huh, thats useful, I can assure you that it works exactly like youd hope it would. When Im soldering, I dont even notice it; I just have an infinite supply of solder right at my fingertips. This dispenser hits the absolute highest benchmark for what I consider a great tool--you forget youre using it. It doesnt hang, it doesnt skitter around, or anything. It just works, and you dont even realize youre wasting zero mental energy on it. Youre not wishing it was heavier, or that it didnt always [fill in the blank] every third time you used it or whatever. It might not sound like a big deal, but putting this thing on my bench was revolutionary. If youre even considering this product, buy it now. Its exactly as good as you hope it will be.

> 24 hourI cant overstate how much this cheap little thing has improved my workflow. Its made of steel, so its nice and heavy. That means it doesnt slide around on my desk when I pull solder. It fits a whole 1lb spool of solder onto it. Since switching to this thing, I havent had any more problems with the solder getting stuck when I try to pull a little more from a spool. Given the price, I ordered a couple more. That way, I dont have to swap the spools out when I need a different size of solder. Finding something cheap and simple that greatly improves my workflow is rare. Thank you to whoever created this thing!
