Dell Alienware 17 Vindicator 2.0 Backpack, Black (AWV17BP-2.0)

My son wanted this for his Alienware computer and I’d say it’s worth the investment. Top quality and has lots of storage. Had for well over a year, no sign of stress or wear

Likes: 1. The bag is big and accommodates the laptop perfectly. I even have enough room to pack a MacBook Pro 2015, a galaxy tab S and some clothes in the bag. 2. The fabric used to craft the bag looks and feels premium but I cant say the same on the bag zippers heads. Dislike: 1. The zipper heads on the side pocket of my bag is broken. Compared to the quality and durability of the zippers heads on the Vindicator for the AW17R3, these look to be made from cheap material. 2. The AW head on the bag is made from metal now. On the Vindicator for the AWR3 the AW head was made of rubber. In my case I feel rubber is better than the metal because the paint job on the metal head is done poorly. The paint chips off.

It looks amazing from the inside to the outside. I wouldnt recommend it for traveling long distances because its a little heavy, unless you really need to go with your Alienware laptop.

I bought this for traveling and it works great and fits perfectly for Alienware 17 R4.

I bought the vindicator 2.0 alienware backpack for my 17 r4 and after further inspection, I found that the backpack was not the correct model. There were two different versions of this backpack made, and while my pack pack had the correct tag for what I ordered the backpack itself was the previous version. The major issues with this were that the front pocket zipper was broken and also dethreaded at the seam, and the fabric on the straps was deteriorating. Along with these, the backpack wouldnt even fit my laptop due to its size and the incorrect backpack. This was purchased through the Amazon Warehouse deals side and have never had an issue before with it until this product. Hopefully, when I get my refund from this and purchase again, it is the correct backpack and nothing has been swapped around or incorrectly tagged

The item is perfect for fitting everything you need to use for a laptop. The bag itself come with dedicated spaces for dedicated gear such as headphones, recording softwares etc would recommend

I had another of this same bag that I purchased from Best Buy in 2018. It lasted 4 years before I started having problems with one zipper coming off the track and tearing the fabric which forced me to get another one. The difference in quality between the one I had previously from Best Buy and the one I just purchased this year in May 2022 from Amazon as a replacement is quite disappointing to say the least. After only having used it for about five months before the first zipper head came off with minimal effort while zipping the outermost pocket closed, the second one on the same pocket came off a week later. I contacted customer support and they agreed to let me send it back and get a replacement. I initially agreed to send it back and get another one, however, I found that the 17 bag is no longer available. So, I contacted customer support again and explained the situation. This time they agreed to give me a $10.00 store credit and to keep the bag, or to send it back for a full refund, but I need a bag in the meantime. So, I decided to keep the bag with the zipper heads missing and tied string to the ends of them so it can still be somewhat functional. However, now a third entire zipper from an interior pocket just came completely off the zipper track and I cannot get it back on. My options now are to keep the bag and use the $10 credit to order some type of zipper repair kit and fix it myself or send it back for a full refund and order a different more expensive bag that is available and can accommodate a 17 laptop. This is some of the worst quality I have ever experienced with Alienware products.

The one I found that was able to fit my Alienware 17 R4. A really nice quality bag that has plenty of space to hold a lot of stuff.
