I was skeptical that this was actually a Dell OEM part, but we bought it because the Dell Inspiron we had started saying the old charger wasnt a recognized Dell product, and this new one doesnt have any issue. Plugged it in, it worked, laptop charges just fine.

Thought I’d give this a update: it’s January 2022 and it’s still going strong. Never had any issues whatsoever like that of some of the 1 star Reviews or any of the bad reviews. Works like a charm still even 2 years later =========== Bought this February 2020 for my Dell 2018 Inspiron 15 5000 after I lost the original charger and over a year later it’s still going strong. Never had any charging issues. I guess it’s just luck of the draw

This is a perfectly fine power supply, but with a critical design flaw. The cord connection to the laptop power port is too flimsy and fails within months. I have used laptops - various makes and models - for 20 years and have never had this kind of failure rate. Dell, HP, Acer, Lenovo. My workplace Dell is solid with an excellent power connection that has been very durable. With THIS Dell - my personal 2 in 1 laptop, I am on my 3rd power supply in 1 year. The issue is exacerbated by the lack of alternative design power supplies that are suitable for this laptop model. I am going to have to gerry-rig something to stabilize the cord and prevent it from flexing.

My original cord got a short in it. This one is a perfect replacement.

The charger is a true genuine Dell. Purchased as a back-up charger. It powered my Inspiron 15-7569 just fine for 2 days before I switched back to my original charger.
