> 3 dayIf you are into gaming or content creation, this is not the monitor for you. If you are a casual computer user and just need a reasonable monitor for your day-to-day emails and social media, look no further.

> 3 dayThis is a solid monitor for a work/school set up. I dont game on it other than to plug my switch so my needs for fast refresh rates are minimal. The picture quality is pretty sharp. My only issue with it is the lack of HDMI spots - theres only one.

> 3 dayThe monitor works great, but beware of the SHORT power cord that comes standard with this Dell monitor. The power cord is a laughable 3 ft. Assuming you set the monitor at the edge of your desk and your power outlet / surge protector is elevated (not on the floor), youll be fine. Otherwise, this length of a cord will only reach about halfway down the desk. Expect to purchase a replacement power cord that is longer. I have owned many Dell monitors before and the power cords have always been longer than this.

> 3 dayI use it for basic web browsing and watching movies. Great resolution (for what I need). My only regret is not buying more than one.

> 3 dayThis is an ok work monitor. Its best strength is probably its stand. It has the clip in system so you could use a wall mounted holder if needed. If your not wall mounting the stand is very flexible. You can adjust up and down, tilt it backwards and forwards, and angle it left and right of the horizon and swivel. There is not enough clearance to switch the monitor to portrait mode. As to the monitor itself it seems to have some consistency issues. Ran it on 3 different laptops using a combination of HDMI and Display Port and docks and the image quality varied. This contrasts with a much older monitor I have of the same size/resolution that looked the same on all those systems. On the back it uses a standard computer power plug (no external power supply needed). It has HDMI and display port interfaces. Seems to do better with HDMI. This is best used as a secondary monitor were critical sharpness and color rendition are not necessary.

> 3 dayAmazon product description is wrong - there are no built in speakers for this monitor. Incredibly inconvenient and disappointing.

03-06-2025Upgraded my home office and got two of these Dell monitors along with a Dell D3100 unit which connects to my laptop via USB 3.x and allows me to connect three additional monitors. My old Inspiron 5559 works just great with all three items. Monitor pictures are sharp and crisp. The height adjustment along with the tilt is extremely nice to get just the right view. Thin bezel is excellent. No regrets.

> 3 dayI dont use this for gaming, only for everyday tasks, internet, etc. I like how you can look at the screen even from the side and it doesnt look dark, you dont have to be looking straight on at it all the time so I can actually scoot my chair around while looking at it. Nice and thin. The height and tilt adjustments are awesome because it works for multiple users. You can even turn the screen vertically but remember to tilt it back first before spinning it around. Ive never had a reason to use a screen that way but for those who do its a plus. Like many reviews state, this adjustable screen doesnt have a speaker but it does have an AUX outlet for it as well as hdmi connections in the back. Overall, good screen.
