> 3 dayIve been using this monitor now for around 2 weeks, and it just works like its supposed to. I have the same monitor for my office workstation, and it gave me no problems whatsoever for the 3 months that Id been using it. Thats the reason I decided to go in for this same model for my home. Admittedly, its only been 3 months (at the office), and 2 weeks (at home), and I will try to post another update after say 6 months, but upfront this monitor is just great. Its big screen makes it easy on my eyes, and there is no flickering or any other kind of issue so far. The controls for setting the brightness/contrast might take some people a minute or two to get used to, but thats no reason to deduct a star IMO. I hope I dont encounter any of the issues people with 1 or 2 stars have been reporting, down the road.

> 3 dayThis monitor is fine if youre using it for browsing the internet, or office applications. For the price, its worth it, if thats what youre getting it for. However, there are some issues: 1. The height is not adjustable. The monitor does not even use a standard mount, so you can change this if you wanted to. 2. The performance is disappointing, and when I tried to play Fallout 4 on it, I had to turn down the graphics options to an unacceptable level. Even with the graphics turned down, I got an odd shimmering effect. Other games of the same required video quality produced similar results.

> 3 dayI Love the resolution of the screen. It was very inexpensive but works perfectly for the days that I need to work at home and have a double monitor. It’s lightweight but sturdy enough so I can move it around if I decide to work in a different room one day.

> 3 dayJust received the new 27 monitor and its awesome --- sharp picture, quick response, and much larger than the 23 I was using. This one is a Dell, which Ive in the past had a Dell computer. Having an HP computer, the Dell monitor doesnt recognize it as if it were the same brand but so far its the best in size Ive ever had.

Greater than one weekIm very satisfied with what this monitor offers. It met my expectations---used for regular computer use; no gaming. I would recommend it to people who are just looking for a wider monitor (wide enough to appreciate watching HD movies).

> 3 dayI like the size the price and the picture. I got the big screens and knew there was a screen manager program but when I went to install it it said I didnt have any screens that were compatible with the program. Sure enough this model is not on the list of supported products. I will live but comparable prices Samsung did list the screen manager as an available download.

> 3 dayWhy do we need wide screens on a computer? Maybe its just me, but I would like to see a tall screen. This monitor is no taller than the 17 monitor that it replaced. And most applications I use place their menus and control bars on the top or the bottom edges, which makes the usable area of the screen even shorter. So, tell me again, Why do we need wide screens on a computer? All that aside, this Dell SE2216HV LED lit monitor is bright and clear. However, the pedestal has no provision to change to a portrait orientation..

Greater than one weekIs a great quality monitor. I have always bought Dell monitors in the past and this one does not disappoint. However, this screen has a flatter screen than the more glossy Dell S2240M I have at home.
