Dell SE2419Hx 23.8 IPS Full HD (1920x1080) Monitor,Black

Overall a decent monitor. Very easy to set up; just plug into to your desktop. This monitor is replacing my smaller Samsung monitor. But when it comes to the saturation (density) level of the colors especially type, the Samsung is far superior. Ive tried some adjustments, but could not get a richer display, especially of letter (fonts). All on the thin side. Okay for the price, but a very mediocre display. Not disappointing enough to return, but not impressive enough to make you feel you got a really great monitor.

I had an older Dell 20 HD monitor and because I use my desktop so much, I wanted a larger and better quality monitor. My older 20 widescreen was from 2012 so I figured the picture quality on this had to be a lot better; its not. Its about the same. This is clearly and everyday use monitor. I agree with another reviewer. The image is not all that sharp. But at this price point, I think the monitor is fine for everyday use. This monitor eliminates the old video cable and uses the HDMI instead. It does come with an HDMI cable. I am irritated by one minor factor. I noticed when I put the stand into the monitor that the monitor is ever so slightly off balance. This clearly is a quality control issue! Ugh. The screen tilts a fraction and there is absolutely nothing I can do to correct it. If I try to bend the base the plastic stand arm will surely break off. Probably not worth sending back, but a sign that quality control at Dell has slipped.

Really great basic monitor. Screen is nice and bright and text is crisp. I needed something for my home office as I’ve been staring at a 14” laptop for over a year now and doubt I’ll be back to office anytime soon with the Covid still being such a PITA.

So, I picked up this monitor (SE2419HX) for a second monitor now that Im WFH permanently. Once I got it set up and turned on, I noticed that it wasnt as crisp as the other monitor I have (pretty much the same model, SE2419H). Then, soon as I went to adjust the sharpness, by first increasing it, it looked like garbage. Then soon as I turned it all the way down, it looks pretty good. Looked as sharp as the first one I got. Hopefully, this helps those on a Mac with a similar issue. On Windows, not sure if this will help you.

I love the size, its a bit larger than what I had before. The picture is clear and the quality is perfect. I would definitely purchase again if needed.

Bottom line: Its a screen. I hooked it up with an HDMI and got a bigger picture than from my smaller laptop. My issue: I dont know how to put it in words, but reading reviews you sort of expect some screens to offer better picture quality than others. In the end, this screen is very similar to a much cheaper HP screen I happen to have at work. The resolution is derived more from the software than the hardware. Had I known I might have ordered a cheaper one. It is pretty, however, and the bevel is narrow as promised.

umm so i really really really like this monitor because it doesnt have a nike symbol in the screen and it is doing very good. although there is no actual thing to secure the monitor to the stand if there is i didnt see it or mine just didnt come with it but other than that i love this moniter

DEC monitors are good reliable monitors. i use two for my computer monitors. The only complaint is that is that the image quality for working with Photoshop editing is a bit limited.

Affordable monitor. Great quality. Remember if putting it next to a 1080p laptop it will look blurry because it it much larger than the laptop but same resolution. Still nice tho.
