DeoxIT® Fader Squeeze tube, 100% solution, 2 mL

I used this product on a Yamaha audio mixer mg16xu and it didnt fix the problem I was having, with my faders, in fact it made the problem worse and resulted in the usb interface on the mixer to short out. so no I wouldnt recommend this product.

I used this on my temp control and blend-door in my truck. They work good as new.

This product worked great to restore sound quality in my bass amplifier. I used a few drops in each pot, and turned the knobs around 8-10 times. All of the crackling and buzzing is gone, and my amp sounds great again.

Does the job for pots that you cant or dont want to take apart. Need to reapply more often then grease as its runny oil type lube.

Ive used all of the DeoxiT products for several years with much success. The Fader Lube (formerly CaiLube) has probably been the best of all the products. Since most volume controls and pots are carbon or plastic based these days, its important to not use any cleaner or lube with a solvent that may dissolve the conductor. This product is tailor made for such applications. Ive had many audio products that began to have scratchy or intermittent operation after a few years of operation or inactivity. Just a drop or two of this magical green substance and the operation is restored to its original performance! I decided to write this review after dealing with a noisy control on my PC speaker control this morning. I simply opened up the little plastic enclosure, applied a drop between the knob and pcb and rotated the knob - it was 90% restored before I even turned it a quarter turn. After a couple of full rotations its back to like-new condition. There are only two things that have kept this product from working in my experience: a sealed pot that makes it impossible to get the lube into the mechanism, or enclosures with tiny glued-in screws that prevent access to the pot (in which you can try to apply it to the knob externally and hope it seeps in enough to do its magic). Ive had this tiny tube for several years and its still over a quarter full.

seems to work well. The 2% spray would probably work better for tight places. Particularly good for Blackstar HT pedals.
