> 24 hourI had to turn a torx head screw in and only had a 1/4 shanked bit to do it with, I used a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter with a 1/4 socket put the bit in the socket and promptly twisted it right in two. I bought this and it is solid as a rock, allows me to use my longer 1/2 socket wrench too.

> 24 hourwith this adapter though, its no problem. speedloading bits and pummeling through materials is a breeze with the impact driver. although heavy and somewhat fatiguing its always got plenty of juice to get the job done this adapter is holding tough even with some of the more punishing jobs.

> 24 hourAs advertised, just thought it would fit more snug It wobbles approximately 2mm from side to side.

> 24 hourFirst: at under $7 its a good price, and being Dewalt the quality is good Im sure. However: its longer than it needs to be, somewhat negating the compactness of my DC820 its sloppy, and bits wiggle around quite a lot and (philosophically) paying a little more for a tool youre happy with is always worth it Verdict: I tried Milwaukees version, and its tighter, more compact and just better--even at twice the price (about $15) its well worth it.

> 24 hourI wouldnt recommend it for high torque impact wrenches simply because as an adapter, your liable to wear it out pretty quick if you put too much torque on it. But for smaller impact wrenches like the Dewalt atomic 20v compact, its essentially a conversion kit. Works almost identically to the 20v brushless imapct driver I used to use for construction. Maybe a tad slower. The fit was snug on a hog ring anvil, with no wobble at all. Could hardly tell it was there

> 24 hourHad this tool for less than a year (of moderate use) and today it broke apart driving a 3 inch screw. Not very rugged!

> 24 hourcompare to Margarita, It is not stronger but better 1- smoother 2- cheaper 3- insert / release easier But shipping cost a little high but it arrived early 2 days, amazing. the wall is thinner than Margarita but I think it is good enough for home use. One notice maybe I should take 1/2 star off is it is a little difficult to take the short screw bit < 1 out of the head. But it is ok with everything else.
